Good location, very close to downtown District 1. Also near bus stops.

The neighborhood is very loud at night since it is close to a bar that blasts music every night from 10pm to 3-4am; you can feel the hotel walls rumbling. The room lacks soundproof doors or windows. Staff doesn't even have earplugs to provide to guests.

In ho chi Minh city's bustling district 1. Many great tourists sites nearby. Numerous restaurants close by and next to Walking street.

The shower area where we have to step into the bath tub for shower and you have to step in and out the bathtub and potentially falling

If you get a street view room, it can be loud outside til late at night.

The staff is the BEST! INCREDIBLY helpful people work here! Location could not be better!Large room w/large bed and all electrical devices met expectations.

The bathtub has handles inside of it that are very uncomfortable. Balcony was not clean.

I'm from India, it was my first solo trip in Vietnam, I'm lucky i booked this amazing hotel Me Gustas Downtown (clean & comfy bed) i paid ₹ 7,000 for 4 nights with good buffet breakfast, location was surprising INTL Airport is just 7 KM far, few Indian restaurant around where you will get Jain & pure vegetarian food, this is the perfect location to stay tourists from all backgrounds, many eateries, 24 hrs convenient stores, Spa, cafe shops & pubs around, Bui Vien Walking Street is just at 1 minute walking distance from hotel, i would recommend this Hotel Me Gustas Downtown to my friends-relatives and my big thanks to receptionists for providing useful information regarding sight seeings / shopping centres.

The room was big and spacious, very clean and facilities worked find. Had a hot shower. The bed was also comfortable. Location was really good for food, night life and markets.

Was infested with ants. But nothing we haven't seen before and they tend to come and go. Just don't leave any food out. Accommodation could be cheaper.

Reception desk and housekeeping staff was friendly and polite. Room was clean. I liked daily supply of bottled water. Breakfast was ok, although not too many options to choose from.

Pictures on the hotel profile do not reflect the hotel. Restaurant is at another Me Gustas location, couple of minutes away. Quite noisy - could hear the party sounds from the nearby streets long into the night. No A/C at the corridors. It was really sticky and hot. The scooter rental desk inside the hotel lobby was weird and the vendor was either sleeping on the cot that was inside of the lobby or picking at his nose. Not really a pleasant sight.

- Room size is very small/ congested - No one at reception answers the call- Wifi not available or fluctuating most of the time- Saddest Buffet that I came across. Also, u have to walk to another property with same name, in another building for the breakfast.

- Super friendly staff- Location- Best value for money

- Can hear music from a nearby street, but not a big problem

Centrally located. Close to many eateries and Bui Vien Walking Street. Great location. Free wifi. Extremely comfortable bed.

You could hear the music playing from Bui Vien walking street. The bath tub is very steep so you’ve got a very big step to get out it, it could be difficult for some people. There was no one at reception on the morning that I checked out so I had to write a note and left the keys at reception.

Hotel is situated 30 seconds walk from the famous Bui Vien street aka Backpacker's Street, where there are a lot of bars and a huge activity in the evenings. The breakfast is really great and pretty wonderful. The place is minutes walk from such sights like War Remnants Museum, Saigon Zoo/botanical garden and Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The main problem of the venue is its closeness to the most crowded and noisy street Bui Vien, which makes it almost impossible to sleep quietly if your room is facing that direction. Bear this in mind

what’s good about the property.everyone is willing to run away.for breakfast again we have to go out to their different property.we were using google translated to communicate to reception girl.thanks for spoiling my money . and at last moment I had to sell out more money to still hold my holidays ..

Everything was bad here... I wanted to write something good but couldn't

Firstly, the room pictures you select are not the one you will end up with. They put their nice photos of the other room. The room they gave was dirty, smelly, hairs in the bed, extremely narrow Asian style bathroom, was not possible to take a shower. Air conditioner was not working. cups were even dirty.In order to get the breakfast you need to walk to another hotel, I didn't even go there and missed breakfasts twice. In the reception nobody speaks English and lack of stuff. If you need something impossible to solve the issue as it takes forever. Stuff neglects you, tries to talk with the manager (manager or the owner not sure.. himself sounds arrogant). I waited for an hour and couldn't understand if they will transfer me or no, then became upset went to my room, after 15 minutes receptionist came told I need to pay asking if I will stay. Calling to a room twice asking to pay is rude, dear stuff. Especially if your client says, she had a long night in the plane and needs a proper sleep. Especially if its a non refundable booking and you had to charge her card. Its not her responsibility but if anyway you want cash wait until she will come get rest and pay. She will not run away definitely. The room was very noisy as it was near Bui Vien Walking street, I were able to sleep only in the morning at 5 AM, when they were closing the clubs. After a day, they gave me another room, which was larger, the bathroom was the one in the pictures, but there were a fan, which was not possible to turn off from the room... making a noise at nights. Couldn't sleep again, in the next morning told in the reception to turn it off so I could sleep. They didn't, so I was sleeping under a music so couldn't focus on that fan.The day I had to leave I asked in the reception if it is possible to keep my luggage within a week and to leave the room in the evening for what I offered her a pay. She agreed.
