Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel

The location of this hotel is prime.

Employees (front desk) are very slow and not helpful. I will NOT stay here again since there are MANY other hotels in the vicinity that I can choose.

Perfect location Nice room with a partial view on the Saigon river.. Heated swimming pool (almost 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 31 degrees celsius). Gorgeous breakfast buffet including fresh coconuts.

Location, nice rooms

Bathrooms are getting dated, no bidet

Rooms that were sold online were not available upon check in.Process to check in was too slow for the 5 star hotel property standard. Also hotel rooms are in need for refurbishment.Overal value is in central location , service and experience of a property are secondary.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was close to a lot of activities. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning except they ran out of some vegetarian food on one day.

Staff were excellent - spoke very well, friendly - nothing was a problem. Breakfast OK ( not a breakfast person) location & room very good.

Menu at Ground Floor Restaurant - just personal. The non slip shower mats were NOT GOOD. they did not stick - making showers dangerous & stressful. The shower door opens out - result all the water on the shower door - falls on the floor outside the shower AND the bathroom ( outside the shower) becomes wet and slippery. This means after a shower I have to wipe the bathroom floor etc - bad design.

Great location, close to many restaurants. Has all the major news channels.

The room rate is quite high for HCM

Location - good and center of city. Room - roomy and clean, breakfast - exceptional great

Correlation between what I have ordered from Booking.com and what Saigon Sheraton received in their database: Not consistent in information in what they received, thus one of the room out of two rooms was not reserved during my first contract (10/02 to 10/06).

the room was well sized, pool and sauna were great

Staff is very good . Special thanks to Ms.Thu Phung for her professional work . Manages the lounge very nicely.

Good work by Nhu Le and Tho Truong

Roof top bar at sunset. Close to everything. Gym is wonderful.

Service was really good at this hotel and every one of the staff is helpful. The room was excellent, very spacious and comfortable.

I would. Love to be back to the hotel SHERATON as early as possible. Great amenities Great ambience .very Courteous staff. Excellent food by quality and variety. Great stay indeed.

Very luxurious & modern hotel, very & helpful staff, excellent restaurants @ food selection .

Perfect location, excellent service, food and drink

The staff were just wonderful. Very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was fabulous too - have the Pho. Location was 5 stars.

The rooms are a little tired but that did not detract from our visit.

The central location is wonderful for exploring the city on foot, as so many attractions are within walking distance. Our room was quiet and equipped with all the expected amenities. However, the air-con however blows powerfully even if turned down to min. Breakfast was outstanding, with a huge choice of fresh food, beautifully presented. Great juice selection and large choice of dishes cooked to order. Very attentive staff. It is for all these reasons that we have stayed in this hotel a couple of times in the past.

Nothing, except for difficulty in adjusting air-con. fan in our room.

Excellent in all aspects. Staff were incredible. Food was amazing. Location was superb. Room, super comfortable.

The hotel was amazing, but it was expensive.

Good location, staff and facilities.

Didn’t like the way they charged your credit card for the full stay deposit at check in and then charge your credit card again for the full stay at checkout. Then they try to refund the original deposit. This is different to other hotels and very convoluted. I’m still waiting for my refund on the original deposit amount at check in.

The location was right at the centre close to shops.

Most facilities such as restaurants, gym and pool are located from level 1 to 5. So, long wait and congested in the lift if u want to go back to your room, which is usually on a higher level, like 15 plus. Expect the lift to stop pretty much on every floor with 10 guests in one lift.
