Silverland Sil Hotel

The friendliness of the staff certainly stuck out as exceptional. We always felt like special guests here. The breakfast offered a plethora of choices and was delicious. Also the personell there were super professional and nice.

Our room was very noisy because of the outdoor AC/generator and people outside on their breaks using their phones very loudly. The hotel let us change rooms though! So.?. Communicate with the staff. They will help you.

Environment

Staffs should have tourists with luggage and pay attention for guests to go in/out of the hotel. Shouldn’t do something private when working

The morning breakfast was abundant and delicious, the hospitality by the employees was great. Everyone was courteous and very helpful. The decor was beautiful, felt very much like I was in a Japanese hotel with the service and amenities provided. Was also a good location to walk around or motorbike in District 1.

It would feel warm/humid in the elevator and hallways to the room.

What did we like? Everything and everyone employed there! Louis, William, Lin, Ryan, ALL front desk receptionists and ALL doormen! We cannot praise them enough! We were able to enjoy our room, the spa, the dining room,the front reception area, and the hot tub! We are so happy that this is where we stayed our last 3 days/nights in Ho Chin Minh City! The personal remarked how much they loved their jobs so kudos to top, top management because it begins at the top. Thank all of you again. It was a very memorable anniversary ( especially with all the rose petals scattered throughout our room! Thank you to Louis and housekeeping staff for making the room so special) I know I forgot some names but we loved you all!

Staff is very professional

Room plan was not convenient with a very small blind “living room”

Central to all the places I like to visit while in Vietnam. Within walking distance of book street, malls, food stall, shopping, and my favorite brewery.

Perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room smaller but all what we needed was there. Food very good and tasty

Hotel was spotless, room was very comfortable, at high standards. Breakfast was the best here throughout our Vietnam trip.

I had a very good and relaxing experience with Silverland sil. First of all, their hotel allowed me to change dates, even when there was clearly a no change of date policy. They were super supportive. The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff were very friendly. Keisha and Han at the front desk were super helpful to me at checkout because the sheets were stained and they still tried their best to ask their cleaners to see if they could clean it instead of immediately asking me for money. Honestly the vibe here is super helpful and not money hungry. They put the customer first and that makes for a very smooth and peasant experience. I was super annoying to them on multiple occasions but they were super helpful and supportive to me. Thank you Silverland sil, Keisha and Han for having me!

Room is too small and not value for money

The staff was exceptionally accommodating, from the breakfast team, to the front desk, housekeeping and front desk. Little bits of help were offered with a smile. I have stayed in this hotel since 2013, came back after the renovation and am very pleased with the service.

My room had no windows

Location was brilliant. Only a short distance from main attractions… opera house, Reunification Palace, War Remnants museum , shops … and also so many restaurants to choose from.Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Robin on the desk and Duy at the door (to name just 2) greeted us with big smiles and made us feel welcome.Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious with lots offer to suit everyone’s taste. Really enjoyed our stay.

Bed was incredibly hard. not comfortable at all. The personnel was great.

The hotel staff were amazing...very attentive and friendly. Our room was decorated lovely and clean. Free water was given in the room and more if requested.Breakfast and afternoon tea was nice and plenty of choice.

The gym and pool area was ok but smaller than expected.The room we had didn't have enough storage space... 4 hangers in the wardrobe, no bedside cabinet on one side and no drawers at all....this makes it difficult to store clothes and keep the room tidy.

We stayed about a week and we really enjoyed it. The Hotel is beautifully furnished and new.We did not book the breakfast so we do not know how it is. But the afternoon tea was amazing and on the weekends some musicians come to play traditional music.My boyfriend worked almost every day from the restaurant and it were pleasant hours for him.John, Tony, Han and Calvin are amazing.John is an incredible worker and person. He is very talented, polite, not ashamed and has good English skills. He will have a bright future.To the Silverland Sil: We recommend to support his career. He is the type of person western people need and want in a hotel.We also liked Calvin's attitude a lot. I was sick and he always asked my boyfriend how I was feeling and if the hotel could do something for me.

The only down point was that rooms are not really soundproofed. It gets noisy sometimes. And the gym is really tiny.

Great location, just a short walk to scenic spots in HCMC. The staff is friendly and attentive; we appreciated everyone who assisted us with an early check-in.

Sometimes the building smells like moldy and moist, especially when it rains.
