Although this hotel is dated we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast Buffet was by far better than some of the four star hotels. Our room was clean and spacious!

The building is a bit old, toilet did not flush completely

Great location for walking, snacking and bars in between sights-seeing tours. Hotel has a nice quiet roof top bar vibe in the evening.
Don’t go to breakfast after 9am, there are only scraps and no staff (no eggs, no chef, cold watery tea, toaster turned off, three bits of bread, etc.) Scraps. Young wait-staff clear tables only and don’t want to be there…

The hotel location was good, and the room size was spacious.
The hotel is quite old and shows signs of wear and tear. The lobby was not air-conditioned, which made the common areas uncomfortable. Apart from this, everything else was good.

It was a little hard to find ?
The staff were very kind & helpful. They helped me find my tour bus & helped me order and find my cab. They really took care of me when I couldn’t find the tour bus and my cab. And it was an easy check in late at night. Breakfast was good too.Location was good. Nice area and can walk to attractions.
The Huong Sen is right in the heart of downtown District 1 on Dong Khoi St - Most things you want to visit are reachable on foot if you don't mind a bit of walking and you can get your head round crossing the roads (which you get used to surprisingly quickly!). The rooftop pool is a blessing on a hot day and the breakfast selection is formidable to say the least. Didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening so can't report on that. The staff are super helpful and I would recommend it as a good place to stay.

"classic" old fashion hotel which is really rarely to find out nowadays..Excellent and supportive staff. TOP location in the middle of D1, close to all tourist attractions by walking. Very clean. Room also "old" fashion style but bath room was renovated and pretty good ( ventilation , hot water ... all without problems ). Check in & Check out smooth, no problem at all, very supportive receptionist. Excellent Breakfast ( many options, good quality, sitting outside... ). Highly recommended for people who like "classic" hotel style....

Rooms (large), breakfast (plenty of choice), but most of all... the staff friendliness. All of them, but most of all one of the guards in the lobby. I'd go back to the hotel just to say hello to him.

Best location. Easy to go about. Near opera house. The room was sufficient and we had a balcony.
The breakfast looked kinda beige and we felt crowded. It’s a maze up on the roof to the pool and spa. The seating by the pool didn’t appeal.
It 3 star hotel but feels real good. Staff very good breakfast tasty location fantastic . Room big clean . Beds comfort also pillows . Daily clean . Really enjoyed even had small balcony to see the street life .
