I really liked the beautiful lobby, the delicious breakfast at Opera restaurant, and the attentive, polite staff who try to remember their guests. At dinner, the waitress even remembered my breakfast order, which was a very thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and pleasant without being intrusive.The pool and the gym are also great for spending time and relaxing, and there were several sunscreen creams available by the pool. In the evening, I also enjoyed the live piano music and the singer — it created a lovely atmosphere. The bar had a great atmosphere — it felt relaxed, fun, and easy to enjoy. In my view, this is one of the hotel’s standout features.

I would have appreciated a more proactive and solution-oriented concierge service. For example, we urgently needed to find a carry-on bag, and no one suggested the simple option of ordering one via Grab.It would also be great to have mouthwash provided in the room.Regarding the restaurants, I felt the food could be more refined, and the overall price-to-quality ratio could be better.

Everything was superb. The staff at the pool area was the best I have experienced at any pool so far, removing towels, stripping loungers etc, absolutely amazing!

The ambience was perfect with a French atmosphere. Breakfast was great, the pool was a little small but provided enough refreshment

The facility feels a little old in our room, desk, and TV stand closet.

Wonderful hotel, great services...the food is of high quality and halal...the cleanliness is very high...everyone is looking out for your comfort...everyone cares about you

The staff was the best in the world. I left some things in the dressers on accident, and they organized them neatly when I returned a few days later to collect them from lost and found.

Everything. From the response time and service level of the staff, room quality, to the overall hotel facilities and ambience, to the food quality, to live jazz performance in lobby... everything was perfect. The breakfast buffet and food quality of the hotel was excellent.

All was good. It just gets a bit busy when there's a large event (or wedding) going on at hotel, which is expected.

This was an impressive 5 star property one of the top 3 in the world that i have ever enjoyed. Along with Wakatobi Dive Resort in Indonesia and the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Hotel in Egypt. There is a certain “je ne sais pas quoi” that you experience at properties like these and you know it right away when you interact with the staff. They are happy to provide services to you and it shows?. What a pleasure to have this type of experience. Also the facilities and food and drink are top shelf. No pretense here.

Excellent location, great rooms, great pool

The hotel is a real grande dame with great facilities and excellent service. Unfortunately my wife and son contracted e coli during our stay which may or may not have been contracted in the hotel. It did appear that the only thing that my wife and son ate which the other 3 members of our party did not was eggs royale in the hotel breakfast restaurant

It would have been better if my wife and younger son had not contracted e coli whist staying at the hotel. To be honest the hotel did not help much and certainly did not make any offer of compensation which was disappointing (actually they did let us check out 2 hours late)

Preferred the breakfast location on the ground floor.. the first floor, whilst quieter was too dark.As a lady travelling alone, I felt very safe in the hotel. The staff were exceptional

Excellent location bang in the middle of District 1 and right opposite the Saigon opera. Many attractions, restaurants and shopping centres nearby. Breakfast is excellent, both in terms of taste and teh spread. The property itself is a beautiful and has an old world charm while providing all the comforts of the modern world.

The staff were lovely but could sometimes get overwhelmed by the number of guests during busy times. I had to wait quite some time to check-in, with my luggage in tow. A valet eventually came up to me to help me with my luggage but I would have expected that service upon entry to the property!

High standing facilities, everything very clean, super spa. After a long-haul flight, just what we needed. The location is outstanding.

The best breakfast buffet I have ever seen. The staff goes out of their way on every detail. Anything you need, go to the desk and it is fixed for you. Facility is great, and a excellent spa and gym.

While it is expensive by Saigon standards, it is still a fraction of what you would pay for the same hotel in Europe or North America. After an arduous outdoor adventure, I needed peace and quiet and pampering. Perfect.

The breakfast was good and the cocktails were good.

Pillows could have been better and more coffee (not decaffeinated) in the room.

Great location. Good facilities (pool, spa, gym) Wonderful breakfast with multiple choices. Perfect for my hungry boys.

We lived on separate floors and it was a bit of a drawback that we couldn’t access the floor that the kids were staying at with our key.
