Camelia Saigon Central Hotel

Basic hotel, excellent location, value for money! We found this hotel while looking for affordable stays in HCMC and it did not disappoint. It is a little small (as are other hotels in Vietnam) but located centrally with easy access to food places, shopping, and tourist spots. Being located in front of a park is a nice touch. All the front house staff we met were kind and super helpful too, they let us pay in the morning when we arrived to check in late at night (and had no immediate cash with us. Rooms facing the park were nice and spacious.

The small staircase couldve been cleaner but we understand that this isnt a heavily accessed area anyway. I wish the hotel also accepted cards for payment.

Location was great. Convenient to shopping, park, restaurants. Central but quiet area. Liked the room too on the 6th floor. Appreciated the bottled water though only 2 bottles per room regardless of number of occupants.

Bathroom door- loud- hinges need grease so it’s not loud especially at night.

Great location and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Helped us out with laundry as well as some recommendations within the area.

Based off the photos this place looks amazing but once your there in person it could use some touch ups, room was like half painted and the window barley opened, the bed sheets were dirty and overall the cleanly level was about a 7/10.

Great location close to walking street and bars and restaurants. Room very small but fine. Hot showers, kettle. Good value for the price.

The position is super good. I can reach any places I want to go in HCM city from the hotel by MRT or Grab or on foot. The hotel is very close to local markets that I can put myself into the local citizens' daily activities.

The location is convenient for exploring the city center. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.

At the beginning, the room was small and had no window, but I was satisfied because the team was welcoming and always ready to help.

The room wasn't super clean, there was a huge spiderweb near the bed and if you moved the curtain you could see that the window was really dirty.
