Very friendly staff, helpful, room was nice and clean.

The drainage in the shower was terrible. Every time we showered water would come out from the shower room into the toilet area. It was also difficult to figure out how to get water to coke out from the waterfall head. The sink drainage was also bad.

Location, cleanliness, simple but have everything you need.

I had a wonderful stay at Sotestu! The receptionists are incredibly kind, and helpful, and offer excellent recommendations. Special thanks to Minn and his team for arranging an early check-in for me. The hotel is new, spotlessly clean, and equipped with many amenities. It's also conveniently located in District 1 (the Japanese district), with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to the main attractions. Thank you so much—I will definitely be back!

Hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are new and clean and bedding items were comfortable. As the hotel is located away from the main street, the rooms are quiet and peaceful.Breakfast had a selection of vietnamese and japanese and traditional western options

n/a, whilst the property is not right in the city center (slightly fringe of city center), private hire options are plentiful and cheap for getting around.

The hotel is quite new and the staff is very helpful and kind! It is located close to many restaurants and coffee shops in the Japanese neighborhood of Ho Chi Min City. The perfect stay if you want a touch of Japan in Vietnam.

Is not that we didn’t like it but it is important to know that breakfast is also Japanese style

Personal was amazing. Just the best team for the hotel. Very nice and professional. Also huge thanks to them for rescuing our baby water bottle and delivering it until our bus left. Japanese hotels even in Vietnam do not disappoint. Clean,comfy,spacious, sound proof and nice staff.

The breakfast was not variable daily and a bit boring.

Location is great. Amenities are first class. Staff ever smiling and ready to help. Breakfast although predominantly Japanese. is good value for money.

The room is a bit on the smaller side if you are traveling with two suitcases.

Location, quality, swimming pool, staff.Especially the little details are great. Little lights for do not disturb/cleaning, full black out curtains, low noise AC, fully enclosed shower, defogging mirror, plenty amenities such as sunscreen/ beauty mask, humidifier available, usb charging, japanese bidet toilet, smooth sliding doors. Great build quality! All those things on top of an already amazing hotel really elevate the experience.

Toilet has low water pressure.

It's what you expect of a Japanese hotel chain. Everything is up to standard to the minute detail. The location is just perfect, a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Saigon Japan Town, distant enough from the noise.

If I were to nitpick, it would be that there is no smart TV.

I actually can’t fault this hotel at all! I think it’s very good value considering what you get in return - a great neighbourhood, close to the attractions, a brand new hotel which is really truly spotlessly clean and fab shower pressure. The breakfast was really good (definitely Japanese inspired but I loved it!) and we made really good use of the rooftop pool. Our room was really quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all by outside noise or other hotel guests. All of the staff were super smiley and helpful. We requested a late check out for a fee which was bliss before an international flight. After a few weeks in Vietnam, if you’re craving peace, quiet and above all, cleanliness; this is the place!

We would have loved access to Netflix/streaming platforms but it really wasn’t a problem for us :)

In general a very nice hotel, very Japanese styled. Clean, tidy, modern. The hotel staff are nice and professional. Well located, perfect for business trip or a short stay in HCMC. The details such as the amenity kits, lockers for baggage storage really level up the whole experience.

Probably not for families or couples who are on vacation. The hotel has basic equipment like pool and gym for the stay but falls short on dining and entertainment.

Hotel personnel was very helpful and thoughtful. This area in Saigon is pretty expensive, but due to environment nearby, it was easy to safe money on breakfast and some other expenses. Hotel also provide a lot of water, tea, and other necessities free of charge. Pool was nice, it's only 1.2m deep, and suitable maybe for only 2-3 swimming persons, but guess it's max what can do in such kind of hotels.

No night light in the room, water "shield" length in bathroom is not enough, so it is easy to spill water on the bathroom floor.

I loved the concept of the hotel. It's a high end hotel with great amenities and very clean.

It's a little far from the centre. But still close to the Japanese quarter
