    • This hotel is a SCAM and is unprofessional. When booked with booking.com, they’ve messaged us regarding when we would arrive multiple times. Not ONCE in that communication did they inform us we needed both our passport and VISA. A simple google search will inform you that you don’t need to carry around your visa, just passport. Upon checking in, we informed them we did not carry our Visa around. We’ve been to multiple hotels in Vietnam, and I had flown in from Japan, no Visa was required for hotels either, and this one is the first one to HARASS us for it. They asked a second time after we paid in full. All within the span of 20mins. We stepped out of the hotel and nothing was said, but messages came through asking for the Visa again. I have never been harassed this way by a hotel and quite frankly, we asked why did they take our money if we didn’t have everything they required??? Then turn around and just keep harassing us for it. Things escalated when the front desk girl called her boss. Truthfully, I’m livid at this point. They refused to refund us even though I said to charge me for the 3-4hrs we left our belongings there or on messages, I said half a day or so, so I could find a new hotel that wouldn’t harass me like this, or just call the cops because this is a scam. The owner I’m assuming they called, was yelling on the phone, she said she’ll call the cops for me if I wait an hour. Who would want to wait an hour to speak to someone who is so money hungry and refuses to refund? She also accused me of “messing with her hotel”. Like we’re matching tone volume, but I’m literally not touching anything in that humid, cramped space. Also, she said to check booking.com’s refund policy, which I told them and showed them on my phone and reservation email. The uneducated lady on the phone told me then I should request a refund on booking. I paid you in CASH. So why would booking be responsible. Don’t go here. METROLUX is clean with better service.
    • We were very happy to stay here had everything we need for a decent price, they did laundry for us as well for an extra charge. Spacious bathroom and room, compared to where we were staying before and where we booked but had to cancel.
    • Close to the buien street

    Cons -

    • The most uneducated, hood rat customer service. Cramped, humid, no ac front lobby. The moment you walked in, it gives what I assume as motel vibes. The front desk girl has this gloomy look and doesn’t even greet you. Probably cause she’s dying in the heat. They clearly have no idea what luxury is. Connected to a bar that gets crowded, etc. You’re better off at METROLUX and get a better feel of “luxury”.
    • Super noisy at night could barely sleep because it’s right on party street. That was the only downfall as well as the beds are a little bit hard. I would definitely recommend to stay here but only if you can sleep through noise or have while working earphones/earplugs.
    • When arrived, we were told that the room is not available because of something's wrong with the lock and they dont know how long it can be fixed. they are being forced to locate us to a cheaper room, but then, I forfeited my booking.com discount which I previously have when I booked the place. The replaced room is only a family room, not exactly as the picture that we booked. However, I was too tired to argue. it wasnt the best stay.

Not clean and they dont have tissues nor spoon and they dont have anything clean

Nothing, the images don’t match the quality of the rooms.

The staff told us we couldn’t check into the hotel because they didn’t have any rooms and insisted we wait for a guest to come back and clean up their room. Then they brought us up stairs where there were two available rooms. It was very bizarre. Also the rooms had a lot of noise.

    1DiamondPosted on: 11-10-2025

Tried to scam me into paying for a room nothing like I booked.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with any hotel. They waited until I arrived to tell me the original room I booked was not available and tried to bamboozle me into taking a way lower quality room that was trash compared to the one I booked and wanted to charge me the exact price as the original “luxury” one I booked. I was in disbelief. I took pictures to show what I booked versus what they thought I was going to stay in. NEVER book this hotel. They are scammers!!!!

Staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly. Especially Kim at the reception, who helped us a lot during our stay and was extremely friendly. The location was perfect, all the main attractions were within a 1–2 km range, and all the day tours will pick you up directly from the hotel itself. There were plenty of cafés and restaurants just outside the hotel.

    8StevePosted on: 11-2-2025

The location ! Ur literally staying in the nightlife center. Just go down to the street and bars, restaurants massage parlors. All is there ! Rooms are big and clean. When u see the “reception” don’t get misled by that.

The bad thing is that the bar is attached to the hotel. So if u don’t want to hear the noises and music u better get a room as high as possible. ( I believe 11th is the top)

    2KimPosted on: 10-27-2025

    No breakfast provided

The bathroom was a sauna as the aircon didn’t cool enough for the bathroom to cool down. We gave 2 days notice we would be leaving and reasons why no interest n accomodating us or concerns why we were leaving

    8Ma R.Posted on: 10-20-2025

It’s convenient and accessible! A lot of restaurants, coffee shops and bars around and its nearby the landmarks (almost).

The window is not properly cleaned…also, the sound at night from the club area which is a couple of meters away but it’s bearable!

Amazing location, room was good and spacious. Staff is very helpful. Bike rental also available.

    Waiting for check-in time :/

    7WangmoPosted on: 8-15-2025

Its quite location, not noisy especially at night hours.

I chose the top floor and the elevator doesn’t go to that floor also, the door was light reflecting so has a hard time to fall asleep as I prefer pitch dark.

    Location and staff

They gave my room away the first night. Only 2 hours allowed for late arrival. They did help with really bad room next door for one night. They should change their late arrival policy or automatically charge first night if not cancelled 24 hours in advance.

    Clean bedroom, accommodating staff

Didn’t find the entrance at first because it was at the side of this narrow road

    3JeffreyPosted on: 8-2-2025

In general the hotel is fairly quiet in a noisy location. The room is large and the bed fairly comfortable.

The staff is very strange. I was with my immediate family and was told my sister clould not stay the night even though I had a 2 person room with only my wife's son in it. I was told there would be an additional charge. I will never stay there again!

Be: warned. If you book this hotel does not mean you get your room. They will say they're no room and ask you go to their sister hotel about a 5 min walk. Her sister hotel look so bad. This is my second time that they have no room for me. My first time I booked for my mom and my brother. She said no room when my brother there. This time I booked for myself she said her guest not yet back.

Very close to the attractions on Bùi Viện street. Couldn’t really hear much noise from the street as it was at the end of the road.

Noise coming from reception - there was an argument with a guest that was very audible from my room on the first floor

Upon arrival at the Hotel, I was told that the Airconditioning in the room, that I was to have, was broken and I would be relocated to another hotel. After finally being able to check-in to my allocated room, there were issues with number of visitors allowed. The House Rules didn’t say anything about restrictions, but a receptionist insisted that only max of 2 visitors were allowed on any day. As a solo leisure traveller, time with friends was therefore limited. I would not recommend this hotel for solo travellers.

I did not stay at Gemini Saigon Luxury in the end. I was transferred to another branch hotel of theirs that is 5 minutes away called Gemini Saigon Center. The only thing I liked about Gemini Saigon Center is its location.

When the staff at Gemini Saigon Luxury asked if I wanted to transfer to Gemini Saigon Center, they showed me the pictures to my new room and they looked beautiful. It was a mezzanine room (Room 502), much bigger than the one I had booked at Gemini Saigon Luxury and I would be paying the same price too. However upon reaching Gemini Saigon Center, I realized the quality of the room was not what I had seen in the pictures. It looked a little run down and quite poorly maintained. The worst part of the room was the air-conditioning. The air-conditioning was faulty and I had to sleep with some supplementary fans that had come with the room, and on hindsight I realize that they already knew about the faulty air-conditioning before offering me this room. Without the fans, the room would have been a little too hot for a comfortable sleep. I went to raise this issue with the staff in the middle of the night and when the staff came to check on the air-conditioning shortly after, they said that the fans were there for a reason to supplement the air-condition. I was a little stupefied when I heard that reasoning.Thankfully I only stayed at Gemini Saigon Center for 2 nights. I did not have a good sleep for those 2 nights however the area which Gemini Saigon Center was situated is very quiet and peaceful. There are a few local cafes and a whiskey bar on the same road and I enjoyed patronizing them. Also on the day I checked out from Gemini Saigon Center, there was one staff who was very generous in letting me shower in the staff toilet before my departure to the airport as it was a very hot day that day.All in all, please read reviews of the hotel you're staying in the future. I only read the reviews of Gemini Saigon Center after I had confirmed the transfer and realized I had to put up with a poor air-conditioning room that did not appear as what it had seem on pictures.
