Ohana Hotel

Pretty clean and cozy hotel at the center of HCM City/ Saigon. The staff was very kind and helpful.It's location is perfect. Located in the edge of the city center, near Saigon river, it's easy to access to the center but also provides other route options to avoid traffic jam in rush hours. Few steps away from 24/7 convenient store GS25.Hotel has decent sound proof windows & doors. Hard to say it has large room, but the room was big enough for my needs.Motorbike & scooter rental is available and also has a small garage for parking.Water pressure is great.The closet is pretty big, it would be perfect if it has more clothes hangers.They have a small coffee counter made by the bellman himself, it cost me less than 1$ but the quality is pretty good. Cannot say it's the best, but for the price it's worth a try.

There's still some dust in the closet corner & top shelf. I hope next time the house keeper will clean it thoroughly. Not a big problem to me. However it will definitely necessary for someone else.I hope they will upgrade to smart TV in the near future, or maybe add a Android TV Box/ Google TV box.

It sucked.

Lacking in hospitality. A/C wasn’t working, had a sun-facing high floor room on a 93*F day. Staff tried to convince me that it did work. I booked a standard queen room, got tiny room with a double bed crammed into it. They wouldn’t change my room, give a refund or offer a fan. I ended up going to another hotel.

Good location, friendly staff, clean. close to attractions, can shop right next door at gs25.

The first room I had was ok but the bed was uncomfortable so I asked for an upgrade and thankfully they were able to accommodate. If it wasn't for the caring and attentive staff I would not rate as high as I did as the basic room I originally had needs a mattress upgrade. If not for that this hotel would be perfect

The mattress in the original basic room on 2nd floor was worn out and needs an upgrade but after upgrading and paying more I got a nice bed. Hopefully they fix or replace the beds in basic room

Easy to walk around to discover the city.

My room was on the street side and it was very loud at night. I needed to use ear plugs otherwise no way to sleep.,

The cleanliness of the bedsheets was extremely poor. I looked at three different rooms before finding one that actually had clean bedsheets.

It was in a good location, the staff were really friendly and it was clean!

Laundry service was quite expensive but other than that I can’t complain

The location was fantastic. It was around the corner from a convenience store and across the street from a juice bar. It was walking distance from most places we wanted to go. The bed was comfy and bathroom clean.

The power points on either side of the bed were hard to get to and loose. Our power plugs kept falling out and our items not charging.

Clean and modern hotel. Hanna was great and very helpful.

Location downtown means only 5-10minute walk to bars/ cafes, Saigon Square/ Takashimaya etc., with other coffee shops/ cafes only steps away.Clean , comfortable and very good value

A little noise late at night from a bar nearby ( I have stayed twice in the street front rooms), but in the room it is quite low level noise so not a problem for me.

Great location close to city centre. Excellent shower. Comfortable bed.

I feel bad for this review but I need to aware other customers. We paid almost the double price for the normal life in Ho Chi Min for this room and it was a nightmare! Extremely dirty, walls full of shit and dirtiness, bathroom was dirtier than a public one, glasses were full of dust and very old forniture! We arrived late at night and we just sat on the bed waiting for the next day to leave the place. I don’t understand how Booking.com can propose a similar level of dirtiness!

Good value for money. It’s basic and nothing special but it was clean and comfortable so nothing to complain about!

Room was small and the hotel felt dark(little light coming in), however, as said above for the price it is was you can expect.

Well.... they don't know how to properly charge for a motorbike rental. I rented on Saturday early afternoon. I was very clear that I would not return the bike until 8pm Sunday... Very clear. I told her I would check out, leave my bag and keep the bike until 8pm because my flight was at 11pm. She said "8am?" To which I said "8pm tomorrow.. At night." She said "Oh, 8pm." I said yes, at night since my flight was at 11pm. She said "OK, 1 day, 200k"... I was a little shocked at only 1 day charge and gave her 500k, to which she gave me 300k back. She knew I was keeping the bike until 8pm the next day. Come Sunday, I check out at 11:30am and leave for the day on the bike. At 8pm I return the bike, as stated and they demand 200k more because I kept it past 2pm. They refused to call the girl who charged me 200k.
