AURORA WESTERN VILLAGE

I booked a room for my girlfriend. When she check in the receptionist charged she extra 200k viet nam dong for card room, they said when she check out they will return the money, the date she check out they didn’t return she money. We called them many times and they don’t want to refund our money.

Great location, within a walking distance to cafes and restaurants, and Thao Dien metro station is 10 mins walk

The location was good, everything was close. Good restaurants in the area.

The room was much smaller than it looked in the photos, on booking.com it was advertised as 4 star but it would have only been 3 star in my opinion. However, once we settled in, we were happy with our stay. The pool was great, and staff worked hard to get our TV working.

Swimming pool was shut when I first arrived and they had communicated that to me in advance.

I booked a room for a friend to arrive at 5 am on December 12 so I booked the room for the night of December 11 - so my reservation should have lasted until noon on December 12. I sent a message to the hotel telling them that it would be a very late checkin for this room - they acknowledged my message to them. The hotel charged me for a "no show" for the night of December 11 and then when he arrived about 6 am on December 12 they charged him again for an "early checkin" for December 12. So they double charged for the same night!! The management cannot be trusted to deal with unusual situations.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable and very clean.

The hotel could improve the signs outside to.make it more noticeable. At first we didn't know if our taxi had stopped at the correct place

Credit card

The hotel didn't accept the company credit card (Visa) for two times and I was obliged to use my personal credit card. Company Credit Card has no problem because I'm able to use it anywhere... I was able to use it alsonduring my stay in HCM, even to pay a coffee at the coffee shop.I didn't understand...

Everything was fantastic. Modern, clean and very comfortable although the bed was a little hard but not unbearable. The staff were accommodating and kind.

Just the bed was a little hard and maybe the pool area could look a little bit more inviting. But saying that, the pool was beautiful and clean.

The room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The room has very modern decor. Balcony was also nice. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Location very central in Thao Dien.

The king size deluxe suite was exceedingly tight, like tiny. You could not walk around the bed in the room. We found it claustrophobic. The staff were wonderful and swapped us to another property,no charge, a two bedroom apartment, 100 mt away. It saved our holiday

The common space was small.

Location was great for staying in Thao Dien. The little rooftop pool was quiet and served well the purpose for an afternoon dip, but it's not a good pool for small kids.

Breakfast is not great, we ended up buying our own stuff to keep in the fridge.

Location was great. It had very generous cupboards to put your luggage bags in. The washing machine was handy. Beds were comfy.

Staff were awful. Communication was beyond bad.I had asked for an airport transfer and they replied about breakfast. I replied back saying i wasn’t asking about that and asked again. And again. And again. They replied the 3 nights after. Only for me to be checking out. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.The staff daily were practicing what looked like Tik tok videos. Which was fine but they never once opened the door for myself or my family. There were stairs to the reception which meant that lugging your luggage wasn’t fun. Was less fun when the staff weren’t helpful.I honestly wouldn’t bother wasting your money here. Book anywhere else but this hotel.
