Saigonciti Hotel was a good location for my solo travel because it allowed me to navigate HCMC easier. The staff were all accommodating and helpful, both the hotel and breakfast buffet staff. They would clean your room if you asked them to. The room was spacious enough for a solo traveller like me; the bathroom was also clean. Contrary to what others' mentioned here, I didn't find any noise that bothered me. Elevator worked well, too.

Inconvenient to climb 2 flights of stairs to access lift,especially with luggage although staff helped when available,beds were rock hard as most beds are in vietnam.location was excellent and room was suprisingly quiet although we were on the main street.Would be great for younger people to stay.Breakfast was ok so was reflected in the room price which was excellent for the location.

The uncomfortably hard beds.Having the elevators starting one level above the entry level.The front footpath was clogged with scooters so it was very difficult to cross from the road to the footpath and once on the footpath their was little space to access hotel with suitcase.

No lift from ground floor. Lift starts on 1st floor. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Requested no bath but walk in shower which they didnt give me. We didn't stay the full time because of these issues, however I was refunded some money back.

Great location in District 1. Very close to Ben than market.
mould in seals in the shower. Toilet seat was also moving a lot - needs fixing. The bed was quite hard, which didn’t help with sleep. The air conditioning was also not working properly - not as powerful as it should’ve been. The fridge would also start making random loud noises in the middle of the night, disturbing sleep.

If you are looking for a hotel close to the bustling Bui Vien walking street, then this hotel is good and within 2 minutes walk. Hotel staff was helpful, room and facilities were great and breakfast ok. Note that the elevator starts as from the second floor only.

The location was perfect. You can walk then shop, walk then eat, walk and have fun. Hotel Breakfast is also good.
