Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Saigon. I was definitely surprised by how nice it was. I arrived at 1:30am and had sent the staff a heads up email and received a reply. My check in was easy with a kind representative.

Best hotel experience we have had in a month of Vietnam travel.

Safe location

The stay started positively, but the checkout experience was extremely poor. We were incorrectly charged for a broken glass that we did not break. We were previously told the notice was informational only and that no charge would apply, which turned out not to be true.The manager was dismissive when we raised the concern. We were traveling with a baby and would have reported any safety issue immediately. Vegetarian breakfast options were limited, and we felt we were not treated respectfully during our stay.Disappointing end to what could have been a good experience.

Not much.

After receiving a booking confirmation from booking.com, and an email from the hotel confirming the room, the booking and the price, we we received one more email from the hotel, where they told us that they would add an extra fee for a bed for our child. We had from the beginning specified that we were 2 adults and 1 child, and had chosen a room with 3 beds. We felt betrayed by the hotel. It felt like a scam, to book at a price, have a price confirmed, and then be told to pay more. We will never visit this hotel again. They will cheat you if they get a chance.

Breakfast is ok . But the room need more cooler .

The place was amazing and super clean; the staff were very friendly and kind. The open buffet has many options. Highly recommended!

Spacious rooms,a little dated but comfortable.Decent spread for buffet and reasonable priced a la carte for other meals.Not a bad location for the price you get.Responsive staff,overall good stay for a couple with a toddler.

The hotel was lovely and the rooms are a good size. We had 2 different types, one with a balcony and one without, the bathrooms were some of the best we had in our travels around vietnam. The string line in the bathroom was also great for drying out bathing suits.The pool was lovely, nice and big and the deep end wasn't to deep, kids loved it. The morning buffet brekfast was also amazing! Had many different food choices (Japanese, Indian, Western) many coffee choices too (and a coffee machine) ? all the staff were very helpful aswell, (offering to help translate to taxi drivers)Would definitely stay again.

The only thing I could really pick on was if you had the do not disturb sign on your door your room wouldn't be made up (obviously) but the staff would call your room late (9pm) to check if you need anything. 2 different days this happened (my room and then my mums another day) easily avoided tho I just unplugged the phone so it wouldn't happen again.

It has clean, comfortable and elegant bedrooms.

It is a good hotel but as a family we didin’t get a family room or conected rooms.

Housekeeping was super nice ? Rooms were clean and comfy.Pool guy was also very kind.

Stuff at arrival was unorganized and it took long to check in. Stuff at the counter did not allow us, to sit on the floor, so we can sit all together in the waiting area. We were told in a rude way to get up.

The staff at the front desk was awesome, specially Tracey ( 11 th morning shift). She was exceptional and the fact I still have my lap top, which I left in the room is because of her diligence. Her professionalism is above and beyond.

The crazy part of me getting disturbed in the middle of the night as the booking voucher was needed. This should have been asked at the time I was checking in not a day later. In room dining sicks; the QR code does not work. The walls are super thin, all night I could hear people chatting.

Very clean and tidy. Exceptional staff always ready to help. Absolutely loved the fresh fruit basket!! Spent a lot of time around the pool eating and drinking and the service there was fantastic. I'd recommend this place to friends and family.

Not being a coffee drinker the only downside was getting just one English breakfast tea bag in the room every day. You could call and get extra though.

Staffs at the front desk were too rude, Breakfast was overpriced, Pool was not clean. It was just 3 star hotel to be honest. Staffs english is not good at all

Love the staff service. The room is spacious, outdoor pool is great relaxing and the breakfast food is excellent

This is a nice place to stay; staff were very friendly and helpful, the room very comfortable. Walking distance to heaps of local food eateries.

The hotel lobby was clean, the staff were all very friendly and always available and the room was spacious, comfortable and very clean with all the fancy features. They even had a pool party for NYE which was awesome!

Location, food and amenities

One of 3 rooms had a bit of smell, aircon issues and few bulbs needed to be replaced. Would have good if hotel would have checked these before issuing the rooms.

Very dated very expensive and many services gone. Never recovered from covid.

The room definitely needs a good clean. There was so much dust on the study table. It was extremely unpleasant to sit and work on the study table, considering I was traveling for work. Carpet was also not cleaned properly.
