Rex Hotel

The only good thing that I can say about this hotel is the location. Other than this not the staff nor the hotel situation (everything is so old, so neglected, slate) is worth to stay here. In addition be aware of unexpected surprise charges that comes.

Yes!!! I made a reservation for two room. It is nowhere indicated that the rooms are for 1 person. They charge me for both room for additional person, the second person in the room. This is unbelievable. Where in the world you reserve a room for 1 person?

Breakfast is good

The window is so small, looks like a jail. It was not supposed to be 5 star design

Everything

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic yet modern hotel. Our spacious room of approximately 50 sqm was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and we particularly loved the rooftop area. We spent two evenings there enjoying drinks and desserts while live music played each night, which added a wonderful atmosphere. The hotel is ideally located in the very heart of this vibrant city, surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. Before departing, we had already booked our next stay.

some noise on the street if you are sensitive to it.

Super location.

Room is small and the hotel corridor & my room smelly

Bed very comfortable, pool was nice, breakfast was very good with great variety. Coffee could be better and the drink prices are very high compared to restaurants and cafes locally.

Swimming pools and gym were great. Best hotel gym I've ever saw, even though equipment is a little bit dated.Location is great.Breakfast was really good.

Window curtai s didn't block light properly in the morning... they were too thin.Room noise insulation is bad. Even though my room was facing the pool / inside of the hotel, after 6 am I could hear a lot of noise from employees / guests walking by.

Everything, from reception to the rooms, the resto and the staff.

No bidet in the toilet.

Great location central to everything, great breakfast selection, staff were fantastic, rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Rooftop bar with views over the city was a bonus!

Property is a bit dated and could do with a refurb.

Great location, comfortable bed, nice furniture

The place is really showing it’s age

Good location Nice staffClean room

The mattress was not comfortable.

Friendly staffs. Clean. Good location.

Location wa good. Central to all sight seeing.

Our room was located on the main road side which was incredibly noisy. Rooms were large but dated.Hotel so busy that there was no personalised service.

Location is excellent. Staff is amazing. Breakfast is diverse. My room is great.

The room had a connecting door to another room, and the neighboring guest was very loud. I had to ask him to lower his volume at about 2:30 a.m on the night I stayed there.

Excellent location

Had two nights in Executive Wing with tour and it was excellent. Stayed for two extra days and was moved to East Wing. I booked room with Booking.com. Room was ok but area being renovated and AC barely worked so hot. They sent staff to fix AC but was same second night. Recommend booking a better room when staying, then all is excellent!

Staff were great. Good breakfast.

The hotel couldn’t exchange $. Entrance to hotel was blocked off on weekends at night. Stayed 2 times at Rex during this trip, the 2nd time, room was not good. Very small and stuffy.

Location, comfort, breakfast, basically everything

I had a late flight and asked for a late checkout, Not really possible. It would have been nice to pay for a few extra hours, but the cost was nearly the same as a full day. Not the hotel's fault, but it would have been a nice touch.

Location, comfort, service, Staffing.
