The absolutely exploit the customer with over charged fees for items that should be included. Particularly for the rate that we pay for the initial booking.

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are excellent, very professional and friendly..The food is excellent. The 186 steps were a challenge, but the views made it worth while.. one suggestion… more vegetables and greens… and an escalator… just kidding..We completely enjoyed our stay.Thank you so much for your hospitality,Marc Hancock & Adelfa Emerson

The staff are so good, but the place , specially going downstairs was Soo bad..

I felt disappointed, the place is soo cliff which is not accessible to PWD and elderly people.. when I saw the place I felt unsafe of going down, so I decided not to stay even a single day. I don't have any idea what's the place looks like.. I felt I was scammed , our booking is not refundable

The property was very nice on a comfortable beach. The staff were fantastic and accommodating. The food was very good

It was a little secluded and from the office to the the main part of the hotel where the rooms etc were located there was a steep incline with lots of steps and long inclining path. You have to be fit to get from bottom to top. Not a place to go if you have health issues

Accessibility from the office to the room can be difficult for old people,as there is around 200 stairs

Pool empty of water locked gate to hotel grounds during the nightWorkmen in beach area cleaning all morning and woke us up talking outside our room early morning. Too many steps from reception to our room must be well over 200 . However it has a landing pier so why not have boat arrivals and departures make it special .Our butler was lovely but I felt guilty having one and decided to leave a day early as I struggled with steps and pool still not ready by afternoon second day and didn’t want to swim with workmen on beach

A place great for relaxation,unwind and to de-stress. It feels like you are in a secluded place away from the busy metro just to have time to reconnect with nature and come back strong again after your quick vacay.

It's not really that I didn't like, but I would not recommend the place for elderly and pwd's. Since the place is situated like below the mountain so there will be like a 200 steps trail going down. But that is what makes the place unique from the others. I and my partner likes the place a lot though.?

Our meals were excellent - very tasty, nutritious. We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts served on the beach, which was very atmospheric.The island-hopping day-trip was fun until it was halted by a tsunami warning. The service was excellent, like at the resort, and two of our party learned to snorkel. The stewards assigned to us - Christine and Meldave - worked very hard to ensure that we had everything we wanted and needed. They were also a lot of fun, in the Filipino way.

Once we arrived at the resort and went down, down, down, to our accommodation near the beach, it was difficult to leave, given the need to climb back up as well as the absence of anything - stores, restaurants, and so forth - to visit. At first this seemed limiting but as we grew accustomed to the resort, our stewards, and the activities offered, we really didn't want to leave.It should be noted that this resort is not a viable option for people with limited mobility.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the beach is beautiful. I really hope they consider renovating and maybe improving the overall management—it has a lot of potential.

I was expecting more of a high-end resort vibe, but it didn’t quite live up to that. The place feels pretty old and worn down, and the internet connection was really weak.

owner was horrid. beach is not clean. badjao harrassing near the beach. very remote, if you don't have own car you are stuck there. price of food was ridiculous. price for extra person was ridiculous (more than the original room booking). felt like a scam.

The cat ? it was a stray and not the fault of the resort but staff took care of it immediately when it was brought to there attention

Good food, hotel staff great. Big room too, and very clean.

Breakfast location by the beach is nice

Price is high for the location. Its not child and elderly friendly. Stairs going to the resort is too long and steep for them. You have to carry your own luggage. Well they found a vehicle for them upon check out but we were made to pay extra and the drive took them 30minutes from the cottage to the back-entrance. We wene not informed of this long wait.Beach is full of washed corals, not the kind whre you can just lay down, play, and swim.Understaffed too. No one to attend to us after 6pm.

We stayed in the beach cabana the rooms were very nice. We had Daryl as our Butler, the service was the best.

We have no complaints. It was a great stay.

The property is situated in a ridge going down to the beach. It is not suitable for some elderly guests since one needs to walk down and trek through more than 60 steps going down and up to the rooms. Some parts of the property needs renovations and repair. there is only limited signal which is only accessible at the beach front near the wharf. The pool is not well maintained. We came during electricity black out and some areas cannot be supplied entirely by the generator. The beach is not clean and seabed have lots of algae which made it slippery and not suitable for swimming. It was a no smoking resort but some male staff are smoking near the beach.

Very natural, lots of plants, trees and birds. Very quiet and private. Very clean. The staff esp our “personal butler” are exceptional.

Getting to the resort was a little far than we expected - about 40 minutes with some rough roads. Need to take steep stairs to get to the rooms and beach area.

The staff were great. Our butler Hannah ,was exceptional. She spoke very good English and was at our beck and call as needed. The reception staff Tang and admin were all very hospitable and welcoming.

There was no mention of the 64 steps from the parking lot advertised. Which to the business is a good thing. However to elderly , not so good. Also there were another 2 lots of steps leading to the beach the one beside the office has about 30 steps which was ok. However if you didn't turn right to access these you were faced with another 60 plus?The beach is ok ,and not too good for swimming as there is seagrass close in to shore and be slippery if walked on . The beach itself is quite pleasant with good dining and seating arrangements. Also bungalows right on the beach are available as are fishing trips, island hopping , jet ski hire etc . The complex is looking a little in 5hevtundown side and could do with a coat of paint and rethatching of roofs of buildings on the resort. The pool is very good and clean, and needs a touch up of paint to the surrounds and steps. If I had known about the resort being on the side of a hill and having to walk down the steps,I would not have booked. I am 73 years old. On the upside they provided porters to carry the luggage to our rooms and from the rooms back up those 64 steps . My Gosh.

I am really struggling with this review. this place has so much potential. the folks were super nice and helpful. the food was good. this is a great place to completely DISCONNECt as you are isolated. your pretty much left to buy the food and water there.

the photos on booking.com are old. it’s run down and in need of repair. the pool was empty, the beach wasn’t really a beach.

clean and comfortable! Kristine was our what they call butler and she was just amazing, so kind and she does an amazing all around Job! if you go there please take care of her! when we tipped her she was so grateful she could afford to buy rice.
