Room was spacious. Staff was courteous.

Not worth the price. This is at best a low end 3 star hotel but the price is same as a 5 star hotel. 40% over priced.

Work was being done during the day on one of the elevators, causing much noise but only during daytime

All was fine, though i dont like the bathrooms where the shower makes the whole bathroom wet and slippery. Staff was great.

We like the receptionist welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable to stay. The property is in great spot and have good access to the nearest shopping street. Breakfast are good.

Not much to say.

First of all, we are happy with the receptionist welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable but little compact as there is sofa and coffee table inside the room. But still it doesn't matters to us. The air conditioning is very good. As for the breakfast, there are plenty of varieties. I love their rose milk. The property is very near to some of the walking street where you can go for a shopping by walk.

Ms. Receptionist's behavior was very cordial, the rooms were clean, restaurant service was very expensive but it was classy!Spacious bathroom and fittings were good.Nearby to railway station (less than 1km)!Time to time house keeping service.complimentary breakfast was really good.

the size of the room.For a three member family the room size is very small.(the old room).the new rooms are spacious and lighting also good.

Madurai Residency evokes nostalgic memories. I am very glad that they maintain the same high standards of quality of food and service. I have stayed here 20 years back. The hotel maintains the same high standards.

Special thanks to the restaurant manager Mr Sarvanan for catering to my mother's need who needed Special attention because of health issues.Staff were very nice

Both upma and pongal tasted good w well prepared chutneys. Coffee below par as it was not velan kaappi/kovai standard. Thirumal is the restaurant manager. Excellent dinner service by Thirumal/his team. The terrace dinner venue was top notch and was full. Hotel Madurai Residency was sold out Feb 7th. Ramie at reception is very pleasant and did her best to attend to my requests. After the dispointments of Hotel Ashoka in Rameswaram, madurai residency was the model of a well run place. Room rates are same. Pls note. Newspaper is delivered to the room.

The bathroom faucets did not hv hot water/cold water indications.

Rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. Rooftop restaurant was nice and relaxing to enjoy in the evening.
