Food was good and the room was comfortable, clean and tidy

None of the facilities like swimming pool, billiard table roof top restaurant were not functional

The room was not clean, the property is poorly maintained. It is not a star hotel.

Not clean, they claim they are four star but they don’t deserve even one star

Stay was not as expected

Hotel environment was not much positive. Glass separator in the room were not clean. Corner of the room or bathroom were not clear. Wifi was not connecting after taking the help from reception too. I gave 3-4 reminder just to have few basic requirements. So about service I cant say it’s quick.Need to improve in many direction.

Amazing staff - be it frontdesk, housekeeping, restaurant. Good varieties of breakfast. Location accessible to main roads and markets.

Restaurant was superb ans staffs mr Madhan Kumar and chief Nithiyanathan was kind and prepared my delicious food on my request and very courteous to us

Bathroom fittings are not fixed properly

Good location. Good place to stay in Madurai with family

Hand towels and hand tissues not provided in the room. Morning coffee is available only at 7 AM

Food was prepared only if u inform them earlier . On the whole very very disappointing from a 4 star hotel . Standards were not met .

Parking , cleanliness and air fresheners

The manager at the reception both the lady and the guy were very co-operative with the request. The kitchen was very good with the staff of the restaurant. Appreciate the hospitality as i was travelling with elders of my family. I had an excellent stay and a very receptive staff,

Had to call the housekeeping couple of times. But they were very prompt and could help easily.

Very poor cleanliness. Stink all over. Dirty room, corridor, no AC working. Some 10th Fail guys working as Restaurant staff, Who doesn't know anything about service. Broken Chairs. Wifi didnt work at all. We were unfortunate to have stayed in that property.

Good ambience , friendly and polite staff , sumptuous breakfast , very close to the bus stand area with good connectivity .

There was no proper confirmation of receipt of advance payment by the Sterling Central office inspite of repeated mails with all details . That caused some anxitey and panic . I think the team that looks into payments have to be more pro-active and resourceful .

Rooms are spacious and well maintained. The staff is polite and responsive. Options for South Indian breakfast were good. Other meals lacked much option for vegetarians except the very basics.

Though well behaved, the staff is not trained well. They goofed up while allotting rooms (an already occupied room was given to me) and housekeeping (left my room door ajar in my absence mid-service and did not return to complete it while I was in the room). Every small housekeeping tasks took longer than half an hour or multiple requests. When I washed the teacups in the room, lots of soapy solution rinsed out. There were dead mosquitos in the kettle.. lack of responsiveness was there even in the restaurant - it took a lot of effort to get the attention of waiters for service requests. little harmless things but did not keep the experience pleasant

Very friendly staff and extremely friendly,courteous and understanding too. Wholesome breakfast items with a huge delicious and nutritious variety. Clean, spacious rooms, well managed services. Didn't have to remind the staff for a room clean, and it was done upon arrival with neatly arranged bedding.

Air conditioner didn't work cool enough in the bedroom

Nothing it was a nightmare staying. Few staff atleast listened to the concerns but obviously they cannot help for this old building

1) Room/ bathrooms are very old and unclean with strains in blankets and pillow covers2) you can find freely running ? cockroach both in the room and the bar. God only knows the situation of their kitchen space3) price per night for the room is charged around INR 5000 plus while it is not worth more than INR 500I just stayed 8 hours and was looking to run away from that messy place

Rooms are clean and staff is courteous and really helpful. Breakfast had huge variety along with live dosa and egg station.

The hotel is however old and does not look as grand As delivered in pictures. The pool and lifts were old looking.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was good.

The common bathroom on the ground floor didn't have toilet tissues and was smelly.
