JC Residency Madurai

Excellent!

Property was maintained very well. Decor made it stand out. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was hot and had options for all ages. Checkin and checkout were quick and easy.

I dont think there is any. It was a wonderful stay.

Good hotel, clean and neat.

Madurai is famous because of Goddess Meenakshi and other famous temples due to which lakhs of Hindus visit the city. The hotel earns lot of its revenue because of this. However there is not a single picture of Hindu Gods anywhere in the hotel but there are idols of Jesus Christ on every floor. The hotel management should also keep portraits of Hindu Gods on each floor.

The room and the hotel had beautiful Indian-inspired interior designs, and everything looked fabulous. The breakfast had a great selection of delicious food.

The front office staff’s attitude really needs improvement, and they should be trained in proper communication skills. While I was checking in, another guest barged in to complain about his payment issue. The staff were holding my passport but did not verify names or clarify the situation. They simply assumed we were together and wasted both our time by saying the bookings were mixed up between platforms, even though we had booked separately. They did not apologise, and the delay continued until I asked them to check me in first since I was there earlier. Only then they informed me that they thought we were together.

Overall very good facility and great staff.. Dinner was good, but breakfast was brillant.. The restaurant Manager Arun has trained his staff very well.. A special thank you to the lady by the name Annam.

I think so far you are doing good job, just keep the same up.

There were mosquitos in the room. No hot water in shower at about 2 pm. Mattresses should be changed.

Interaction with reservation team to confirm payment was bad. No response to booking.com messages. No response to whatsapp msgs to reservation team phone number. Rude response when called.

Room was very comfortable with a big bed. Ample space and modern decor. Room had international outlet sockets so we didn't need power converters. Breakfast buffet was tasty and had plenty of variety. Room came with free bottled water.

Bathroom was dated and needed some remodeling. Bathroom could have been cleaned better. Air conditioning didn't make it into the bathroom so it was sweltering.

Location is good breakfast is ok

The room was as per the photos. Breakfast buffet was very good. Room service by Pitchaimani was excellent.

Whilst the pool was very good, if there are swimming lessons 7-11:00 and 15-19:00, a section of the pool should kept for guests.The room service menu is very large but very little is actually available. You access the menu via a QR code so they could easily update their linked webpage.Internet can be intermittent and slow.

The staff was cooperative and helped us extend stay by couple of hrs. We had a breakdown of our vehicle that took time for repair. Due to the extension provided, my family could stay in the room for 2 more hrs while our car was getting fixed. This helped a lot being in a totally new place for us.

JC Residency was a very positive surprise and I'd highly recommend it. It is very clean, offers good food, a personal and friendly service and beautiful furniture for a very reasonable price. The suite was huge and very comfortable.Another highlight was the great pool.

They got executive rooms with very poor WiFi connection and smart TV which never works as “SMART”. Overall they spoiled my entire day !! Advisable to stay in corridor if you really want to use WiFi !!

We stayed at JC Residency in late March. The receptionists were kind and helpful, and our room was large and comfortable, with a large bed, a refrigerator, safe, wardrobe with hangers and shelves, bedside tables and lights, lounge sofa and table, desk and chair, hot water pot and tea items, heavy curtains, a luggage rack, and a chest where we placed our second pack. (I thought the mattress was too soft, but then, I prefer a firm mattress.) Daily room cleaning. 2 bottles of water a day. The internet was a little troublesome, as you need to reenter the password every time you leave and then return to your room. The bathroom was a good size. The restaurant is small and quickly becomes crowded and noisy. This is a shame, as the breakfast buffet is well done and extensive.

We made our reservation through Booking.com, and it was confirmed that we would pay upon our arrival. However, we kept getting emails, text messages, whatsapp messages, and even messages via booking.com threatening that our reservation would be cancelled if we didn’t immediately confirm our credit card information. (The last one came via whatsapp from “Yoga Every day by HaBuild”.) I contacted the hotel via their official website a few times, and was told that our reservation was confirmed and that we did not need to do anything further. I hope the hotel and booking.com can take care of this issue.
