David Residency - Just 4 km away from Meenakshi Amman Temple

Room was spacious and clean.

Shifted to different building to secnd floor which donot have any lift.

Easy & accessible location from the train station. Budget friendly & staffs are very helpful.

Rooms and bathroom are clean. Though the bathrooms are very small in double rooms.

Mosquitos....rooms are full of mosquitos even though we never opened the window. Funny thing is outside there were no mosquitos. But the mosquitos were so weak and fragile that they just drop dead even if you woosh them

A bit too far from the centre for us3,6 km from Meenakski Temple Few buses going to the centre/train station we waited ca 20 min and took a tuktukTwo windows, one going to the corridor, it was a bit too bright in the room, even with navy blue curtainsIt would be helpful to have a mosquito net in the window to open the window for the night

The location.

the staff were asleep and it took them more than 10 minutes to wake up and get me to my room.The room was tiny with just about a foot of walk space around the bed.The room was damp.The smell of sewage was strong in the room and a notice advised to switch on the exhaust fan only if needed.The TV did not have a remote and the staff did not wake up when I went to ask them for it.

The ambiance was great and calm. It was a such a peaceful stay. We stayed here for 2 days. It was a great stay, would definitely recommend friends here and come back again if we happen to visit madurai.

Avoid.

No natural ventilation. No mosquito/insect netting. So one would be fumigated throughly with insect repellent fumes.Bathroom smelt bad. There are instructions not to " kindly use the exhaust fan ( in the bathroom ) only when needed to avoid drainage smell " i.e. there seems to be some connection between drainage/ sewerage system and air circulation in this establishment.

This is a kind of hotel to stay is enough but they cheated and as we reached late night and it's far from station and no nearby hotel to search. They charged 1000 extra as they told on there app the rate is reflecting different from the amount paid.

Fraud and cheating experience with the manager who charged with higher charges in the late night with family it's not safe to stay in that hotel.

Unhygienic rooms and bathrooms fully dark and dependable on electricity for light , no fresh air

There is no entry for fresh air and sun rays, in room or bathroom which makes the room less comfortable and unhygienic.

Very lovely location..very nice rooms..cozy little place..polite staff..nice restaurants at walking distance and lake Vandiyur very close for morning exercise and fresh air on the joggers track surrounding the lake..

The staff is very amiable and polite.

Room size was too small, could literally touch the celling fan, which is a safety concern.

There was no breakfast and the hotel does not have a restaurant either. The nearest restaurant is 2 kms away.

The bathroom was foul smelling

Don’t book form online aap if you book they will ask for advance money if you denied to give and proceed with pay at the property option then they will force you ti cancel booking or give check in at 3 or 4 pm.

Poor management

It was ok. But for the price could have got better. The worst thing is the room is so damp, even bedsheets are damp, no ventilation in the room, so it holds the musty smell and makes an unpleasant smell.

Value for Money,near and clean , supportive staff and good location.

Dirty bed linen. Plus we were in a room near reception and were kept awake almost all night by someone at reception playing music on their phone - really inconsiderate.
