Hotel Vijay

Best value for money hotel. Proximity to temple and everything else is just perfect. Little old but very well maintained.

The room was not clean, we had to ask for a new bedsheet when we got there and the replacement was still stained. Not like the pictures on booking or Google. Bed not comfortable. Shower more like a big tap than a shower. Water provided wasn't a new bottle it had been refilled. Confused by the fact they have a valet on the lift, room service, personalised stickers on the soap but can't clean the room properly.

Nothing except location.

The toilet seats were broken and dirty. Floor mats was dirty and very old.

Internet and wifi needs improvement. Otherwise stay was very good

Location is excellent ? Staff are so efficient and so friendly. They even helped mend a tyre puncture Their booking system, room service and speed is awesome!

Cleaning can be more efficient All windows need mosquito netting Plumbing and bathroom can be improved with better accessories

The proximity of the hotel wrt to temple and other facilities

The rooms need to be renovated a still more. Water is not branded one. Bathroom fittings are very old and taps leaking. One of the doors couldn't be opened and needed staff help. Front desk need to be more composite.

I had a disappointing stay at Hotel Vijay. The toilet was not clean and had a bad smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the room had mosquitoes, making it hard to sleep peacefully. The hotel needs to improve its cleanliness and pest control. Would not recommend unless these issues are addressed.

Just average for the money paid but staff is very rude

Staff, particularly night shift receptionist (I think Raja) and his assistant are very rude. They do not have adequate parking.

Water seepage, flush not working, lights not working, after complaining also things not corrected, poor room cleaning, poor toilet cleaning,

DO NOT book this hotel. They'll give away the reservation to others when get paid more.

Staff were very rudeLied about not picking up the call from the hotel stuff. Had to share the snapshot of call history.Finally cancelled the reservation siting that "showed up late". We were merely an hour late from the confirmed check-in time.

Rates are unfair, toilet cleanliness is poor, while booking one rate and arrival time rate is different, phone booking rate is different, though we tried in both a ways, they asked us to vacate 12 noon. Not fair

We had sent the email as 12 no of persons and booked 4 rooms with extra beds but they showed we have booked only for 6 persons so we had to pay extra..... I don't know the logic of 4 rooms for 6 persons as claimed by the hotel staff and the manager was arrogant when questioned

The location was good and the sheets did look clean.

This is the worst place I've stayed in, in a long time. There was a smell of stale smoke in the room, and it looked like the room and bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time, maybe a swish of water on the floor. It's a basic, tired hotel but if it was cleaned thoroughly it might get a better rating and people might come back. Also no WiFi, had to ask for towels and hot water only in the mornings. We did ask for someone to come and clean the bathroom properly but no-one showed up. Thankfully we had only booked for one night. I would have found other accommodation if we had booked for any more nights.

I stayed 2 days there is no hot water in the bath room and Wi-Fi is not working in the room.

Cheap and best Hotel, good location, and comfortable. The staff was very good. Value for money.

The wash room at ground level, which is used by waiting customers, before check in or after check out, should be improved . It will rate high to the Hotel.

Very helpful staff and good value for the money. I only spent a couple of hours here because I had to wait for my bus to depart. Therefore the location of the hotel is great.

Breakfast option was not there . Location of the hotel is quite close to to the Meenakshi Amman temple however parking space is quite small hence valet parking facility is provided. Worst part was that hotel's electrical wiring was so pathetic that power supply trips down if you use an Iron Box for ironing your clothes. You have to get it done outside and that also is availabke only in the morning. In fact supply got tripped when I switched on my laptop once.
