Looks like real hotel.Actual front desk. People helpful.Breakfast ok. Room was small but comfortable. Good showerAnd bathroom. Place in descent shape. Ok neighborhood.Walking distance to nice rooftop resturant with decent food

Got emergency packages from Amazon. Last package stolenBy someone at front desk. As usual everyone looking for handout

Came as a group in a bus. Arrived 9.00pm. Not allowed to travel down the road to the front of the hotel.

The property is in congested area. It is a small hotel with small rooms

Rooms are small. Bathroom can be more clean

Our recent stay at Grand Sabarees in Madurai, was truly a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic — just a short walk from the Meenakshi Amman Temple, which was very convenient for our early morning darshan.The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities needed for a hassle-free stay.

The room is clean but very small, room is not for 24 hours they are very strict in check out timings and charging for stay an hour more. breakfast is also not much verity but the servers are very kind,

size of the room

The rooms were a little small. Location wise is good as near the Madurai city and walking distance to the temple. Nearby shops and eateries available. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

The location of hotel and cleanliness of room were good. Breakfast we had one day. But delayed service as no restaurant or room service. Everything ordered from outside and brought which is not fresh and not warm.

We had booked standard double room. The size of room is terrible for a double room. It is a Queen bed, and each side of bed only 1 feet space on 2 sides and 3 feet towards bathroom. Terrible for a double room. Second person has to walk around bed hitting themselves on corners of bed and no space to move or walk comfy. It is suitable for one bed. Mis-represented in photos or hotel manuals as double room. Understand the executive room has maybe 2-3 feet space all around vs standard room. Still very poor information on hotel website on this. Beds also not that comfy.

The breakfast was good. The room was good and the shower was hot. The hotel close to the temple.the Sabarees restaurant down the road was quite good and the staff there were very lovely.

Unfortunately the temple was encased with bamboo and hessian, because it is being refurbished. Very unfortunate as this was the reason I went to Madurai. This work will continue for a year. I know it has to be done. The inside of the temple is stunning. I don't like the bathrooms not having a division between the shower and the toilet etc. I also like to have a separate sheet as I get very hot and that is all I need. There was no kettle in the room and I would have liked a cup of coffee in the evening, and not have to go out for it.

Room size too small for the price .during check out the reception staff claimed That payment was not done which I have already paid during check in .later on after investigation it was found the mistake was from hotel management side .the Situation was humiliating( which happend in reception area in front of other guests )these kind of mistake is not at all acceptable .due to this incident hotel deserve 1 star rating even though hotel deserve 8 because of breakfast staffs ,clean rooms and all .Still I am giving 5 .

I was particularly impressed by the young lady ( I have forgotten her name ) at the reception who organised urgent laundry for me..Thank-you nice lady at the reception ?.

This is not a criticism of the services or people, but I stayed in a room with a window but no daylight or an outside view .When enquired, I was informed that all rooms except Suites are in effect windowless.Customers who are prone to chlostrophobia should be aware .

Strategic location and although rooms are small, but still clean.

I actually had 2 bookings for different days. For the first booking, the staff informed me only 2 hours prior when i called that some maintenance was going on and was unable to accommodate us for the night. Such unprofessional behaviour and we were struggling to find a place to put up the night in Madurai. Luckily the offered us a 2star hotel, Keerthi Annexe not too far. Our second booking had no issue.

Room was clean.Staff not upto the mark. The security was helpful.

The room size is very small. Not as seen in the pic.No toilet paper. Location in a busy street. Not comfortable for parking.

Good breakfast and friendly breakfast staff.

Deficites in cleanliness. Deficites in friendliness and helpfulness of reception desk staff. Permanent disturbing noise from the street. Considering this, the room was too expensive.
