Everything was below expectation. The reception person was the only person managing the entire place and we had to wait for a bit to get our room keys. The staff made faces while helping with the luggage. The receptionist made a racist remark.

It is clean, rooms are spacious and staff are polite. The food spread, particularly of the South Indian variety, is very good and tasty.

Its location. Though it is on a highway and relatively close to the airport, it is at some distance from the city. The distance from the city is compounded by the lack of an access point from the opposite side of the road that leads from the city to the hotel, forcing drivers to drive an extra 3 kms a side to a u-turn for the road to the hotel. Our driver, who was otherwise safety conscious, drove 200 meters, rather gingerly, in the opposite direction every time he drove back from the city, to access the hotel.

Positives: Location near to airport. Courteous staff.

Negatives: The room I stayed was not cleaned properly. I reported to the front desk, and they sent people to clean later. Maybe that was one-off situation, I am not sure. My previous stays to the same place were good.

Every thing was very good. The location was good, the staff was polite and helpful. Food was good ..We will certainly recommend our friends for Amika.

Rooms were small but clean enough

As we had no option,we booked breakfast inclusive package , but our flight is early in the morning so requested for packed breakfast, they said sandwich is the only option . We said fine but sandwich is nit up to the mark, very basic sandwich like in a basic bakery, we requested for cut fruits,, instead they provided with an uncut apple , I hope they can do better packed breakfast instead of like this,,

Ambience was very good. The staffs were very cordial. Excellent food and service by the staff. Special mention to the staff Asha at the front desk for her amazing work.

It was ideally located for our purposes, very close to the airport. The breakfast was superb. In general, the food at the restaurant was very good. Pugal at the restaurant was nice to have around. Asha at the Front Desk made our check-out process very smooth.

Can't say there was anything to dislike.

Helpful staff.Clean hotel.

Mattresses are too soft and sinking from one side.Turning mattresses and replacing when required is important.

It was Clean, neat and to a high standard.

Food was extremely expensive. The location being out of the city , it wasn’t easy to access other eateries and had to rely on the expensive food at Melange.

The room was decent.

The restaurant made me miss my flight! I told the restaurant I was under time pressure and they took my order in advance of the opening for dinner service to ensure speed. They literally took 50 mins for my food to come out, doubled up with a taxi they organised that didn't arrive on time, made me miss my flight. When I went back there, they were fully booked up. This ended up being the best thing that happened as I went to the Grand Madurai. A far far far superior hotel, and well worth the additional money.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious rooms, good restaurant, close to the airport .

Nice hotel if u are passing through Madurai. Good hotel for short stay. Close to the airport.

Hotel needs minor maintenance attention especially to the rooms.

Neat , clean , all required facilities available, a little bit away from the city , so not much traffic , calm and quiet

The drivers who drive us around.Need to have a place to rest,sleep and freshen up.Our driver recommended Amika with good feedback.Please do look at this point.

It was very clean. The staff very kind, professional & helpful. Bfast was amazingly good.

Mosquitoes bothered us at night!!Do bring along your repellant.

Venue and Reach to outside of city and airport

Break fast could have been more option as almost same menu repeated for both days,Wash room is too conjusted... staff are not cordial enough to address guest.

Excellent food. Overall good.

Bathrooms are very basic and could improve cleanliness. Food is great but prices are high (single cup of tea Rs 160). Far from the city, and nothing around (restaurants, tea stalls etc).

Breakfast included all regional foods where everyone would love to taste and experience their own traditional ones.

Room is not much spacious and balcony not available

Good for a couple of nights located next to highway.

Sink and toilet installed at low height. There was a group of families staying in rooms around us, making lots of noise in the evenings and mornings. Dinner can only be served from 19.00.
