Pros +
- The villa was pretty close to perfect with living room, bedroom and a partially covered outdoor bathroom. 20m from the sea with an amazing view. Large porch with a hammock, 2 bean bags, a sofa and a plunge pool. On the private beach area two sun loungers and a double day bed with a canopy and a mosquito net. Food was good and served either in the restaurant or under the trees right next to the beach. Staff was attentive and knew the first names of all the guests. Dive center seemed well run. Kayaks and paddle boards were available free of charge.
- What an extraordinary place. Extremely comfortable cottages with lovely indoor/outdoor baths. Location is incredible along the coast of this small coral island. The staff are some of the friendliest, most helpful and kind I've ever met and of course, the diving is extraordinary!
- Remote setting, great snorkelling, varied buffet style food, great pool and relaxing beach
Cons -
- All the extra’s does add up.
- Internet very slow. Arrival at airport took a very long time to clear immigration. No real house reef
- All good. I'll be back!

We loved everything about our trip to Siladen Resort. The resort itself, the spa, the diving and the food were all fantastic. We would absolutely visit Siladen again in the future.
Great location for diving and snorkeling. Staff very friendly
Internet very slow. Arrival at airport took a very long time to clear immigration. No real house reef
Our stay at Siladen was fabulous. The snorkeling on the house reef was full of hard and soft corals with so much to see. The dive boats took us out to some amazing places which we really enjoyed. The boats are all in good condition and well kept. The dive staff was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The room was beautiful and clean. There was free wifi. The food was really good and varied. There was usually a large buffet and also a station where they prepared your order. On two occasions it was a sit down service. Lots of good options. They had really nice entertainment, including the local town choir. The spa...well I would go back just for the spa. They had free yoga classes and an informational talk about marine life (nudibranchs) one night. Very inclusive atmosphere among the guests and staff. Staff was super efficient if there was ever a problem. Very welcoming management. Great stay!
All amenities and services are excellent. The food is always above expectations. The most exceptional aspect of the resort is the staff. The standard is set by the managers, Anna and Miguel who make sure that each guest feels welcome. All the staff know the names of the guests and are happy to greet you by name. The scuba diving operation is superb. Dive guides are expert in finding and identifying marine life. Your guide stays with you for your entire diving schedule. The spa is also great and quite reasonably priced.
All good. I'll be back!
Staff was amazing, dedicated, friendly to us and to each other, called us always by first names, immediately picked up our special needs and requests, attending to every detail ! Food was exceptional (all meals) : very creative chef, using local fresh ingredients. Dive Centre is one of the best I have seen (and I dived in >12 resorts in South East Asia). It is run like a precision machine, and always trying to satisfy the guests wishes. We had an amazing trip to the highlands also. Very relaxing atmosphere. AMAZING, AMAZING AMAZING !!!!!
internet signal in our room was a bit slow
This place offers the quality and comfort of five star resort, but is friendly, cozy, quiet and perfectly organized. It was a perfect finding. Located just few minutes boat ride from Bunaken island. It’s most valued treasure is its staff - they make you feel like at home.
Totally lovely hotel in a stunning location - the photos don't do it justice - with some of the best diving and snorkling in the world. The staff couldn't have been more charming and more helpful. The food was totally delicious - the best we had in Indonesia. Would very highly recommend.
Everything was amazing.
Everything! Perfect stay. The location, the massages, Ana, Marco and the whole Siladen staff, the facilities, the snorkeling, the yoga, the lectures, the room. We can go on and on! Everything was amazing, but most of all the staff really made us enjoy our stay! Thanks so much Siladen, it was really a unique experience and all the small details of offering such great service and care made us feel super relaxed! We really hope to come back one day and see you all again. Congratulations on all you do.
I had a wonderful time at Siladen. It's a beautiful resort, but the staff and the food make it really outstanding. You feel really at home there, which makes it even more relaxing. I also appreciate their efforts to prevent unnecessary waste.
Long list. The people: They were always cheerful and pleasant and would go way out of their way to ensure we were pleased. The Resort: Incredible, beyond beautiful. Clearly a well thought out landscape and well manicured. The buildings are clean and well maintained. The food: not only was the food great, the restaurant team was flexible to support special needs or requirements.Diving: While a bit disappointed there not being any larger animals, the sites varied and the dive guides seemed to know where the macro shots were. All of my dives were two divers to a dive guide and had the same guide every dive. A shout-out to Alwin, the best guide I could have asked for. We do travel a lot (57 countries and growing) and have had many great stays. This resort / location will be regarded as one of the best we have enjoyed so far.
While out of their control, just off the beach There are large amounts of sea grass while does limit the swimming options a bit.
The location, the massages, the staff, the facilities, the snorkeling, the diving, the yoga, the turtle lecture, the room. We can go on and on! Everything was amazing, but most of all the staff really made us enjoy our stay! There really is nothing that we didn't like. But maybe, even though they are already doing a lot to clean the beach daily and remove ocean plastic, the only small detail/feedback we can give is the amount of plastic that comes from Manado city that's still stuck in the seagrass at low tide. If possible to remove this (or maybe include/organize beach clean ups for resort guests?) that would be recommended.
Jane's Yoga!
Lack of toothbrush & brush, comb, etc.
A great place to stay to explore Bunaken National Park. The staff is super helpful and will make you feel at home from the very beginning. Villas are very nice, clean and comfortable. The food served is amazing, great variety of choices and the presentation is outstanding making you feel you're eating at the Michelin star venue. The house reef is nice though those truly worth a while require a boat ride that the resort can arrange (the whole day trips and snorkeling trips are excellent too by the way). The staff at the dive center are also very helpful and flexible to accommodate your snorkeling/diving needs. Room service is provided twice a day.
To snorkel you have to walk to the jetty, not far but can't do it off the beach. The beach in front of the resort is average. The one near the jetty is poor as local people live nearby with boats parked. The concrete jetty is quite ugly but doesn't belong to the resort.
Beautiful resort with yummy food. The management and staff were great -any problems were sorted promptly and we felt very well cared for. Great atmosphere and beautiful sunset views.Amazing house reef for snorkelling! We did the dolphin & snorkelling trips and my boyfriend did some dives (special thanks to Lea for re-introducing him to diving), all well organised. The spa is also fab. 10 days went too quickly! Highly recommended.
Very nice resort, very warm staff, thanks Ana, Frenkie, Lya, and others staffs’ warm hospitality !exquisite food, well maintained facilities, very clean, clean the room twice a day, has mineral water , we bought an extra one from mainland but no need, stunning view. hope can come back again in the dry season
It would be better to provide free laundry service
