Luwansa Hotel and Convention Center Manado

Very comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast and really helpful friendly staff. Really interesting local and village life nearby and beautiful views from the lobby and rooms.

Actually I stayed three days but with different bookings. My first stay I got a very nice room with excellent cleanliness. But on the second stay I got a different room that has lower cleanliness.

I hope they can keep the highest standar to all if their room. The breakfast selection was quite limited to Indonesian/Manado food. Although it was delicious, I missed some western food on my third morning.

We booked this hotel on our way to Sorong. Great hotel for a night. Everything was clean, great room and friendly staff.

Brilliant hotel. Very luxurious, with swimming pool and excellent breakfast. Spacious rooms and beds. Very good aircon. Outside of center Manado, but Luwansa makes that up for luxury. Regarded as tophotel in Manado.

Nothing. Just keep in mind it is not in the heart of the city. But staff organise transport as well.

Everything was perfect - cleanliness, comfort, staff, huge windows in the room, and the place was simply wonderful - views of the mountains and mysterious temples.

Everything was perfect. It's just a luxury hotel for little money. Very clean. New plumbing. Excellent breakfast. I left my favorite T-shirts in the room, came back a few days later, they bring its back to me.

I liked the facilities of this hotel. The room ambiance was warm that could lead you to relax. The flatscreen tv worked best with lots of channels. The floor was carpeted so you won't get your feet cold. The bathroom was clean with complete toiletries. The shower worked both for hot and cold water with good water pressure. The towels they gave were dry and clean. The check in and check out process was fast and great. The wifi speed was good. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The parking area was secure. This hotel had lots of breakfast options from asian to western food. For groceries, you can reach Indomaret with 10 minutes walk.

It would be great if they provided pick-up and drop-off service to the airport. But even so, you definitely can order grab car from this location. There was not pharmacy/clinic nearby. The food stalls were far, it took time to walk, so you need to rely on online ojek like gojek or grab.

I liked the cleanliness of this property. I chose the twin bed room; the beds were comfortable. I brought my 3 friends with me and we could comfortably sharing the bed (2 persons in each bed; the bed slightly wider than the usual bed you found in twin room). The central AC was working really well. The bathroom was clean and the toilet bowl was big so I guess even if you are in the bigger side of body weight you will still comfortable sitting on it. The hot and cold water in the shower were working and the water pressure was great. There were amenities and two clean towels (you can ask for new clean towels after you use it). The wifi was strong (up to 7 Mbps). The flat screen was working and it had good channels. The staffs were very helpful and always ready to help. The check-in and check out were smooth. The breakfast had variety of options and taste good.

The deposit I needed to pay for the room key (IDR 50,000 per key). They will return your money when you return the keys and showing the payment notes but it made some hassle for me.

Big room, clean, the room view

Check in process took times since only 1 staff who served. I took almost 30 mins in the queue and when I asked why only 1 staff served in the check in hours, they only simply said "the others still take a break" (seriously?). I booked 3 rooms and checked in at 2.30 pm, and surprisingly 1 of my booked room was not ready yet and need to wait for another 30 mins. You know the busy hour of your operations are check in and out time. You should schedule your staff properly.During the breakfast time, few people are allowed get into the restaurant without wearing a mask. Then, I need to remind the staff about it.
