Aston Manado Hotel

The hotel was alright but there is many things need to be maintained. the breakfast was perfect, the service was wonderful?

The sink and the toilet need to be fixed. the water pressure for shower is not so good

It is a good location. But the hotel is apparently aged and lack of good maintenance. The Lobby is comfortable.

The room is in a poor condition though clean.

Some changes in management, which are OK, but I really loved the guy from Bali. I also miss the extensive fruit table at breakfast. But the staff are still the reason to stay here - super friendly, welcoming and professional.

The services were extremely slow at the restaurant at night. The choices offered in the menu were generally not there, sold out!

The standard room is quite large, as is the attached bathroom. The shower area is enormous.The room is clean and bright, although beginning to show it's age. Wi-fi speed is reasonable at about 20mbs, although it drops in and out.Reception area is very impressive and the reception staff are both efficient and friendly.The buffet breakfast is probably the best I have experienced in Indonesia.

The hotel is located some distance from any area of interest, perhaps 15 minutes walk to the seafront. Footpaths in the area are practically non-existent so you may need transport to get around safely.

There are few, the bed is comfortable and the room is quite clean. The TV entertainment is good

It is a run-down hotel, need a lot of major changes such as Elevator is old, everything inside the bathroom have seen better days. The gym is not Ok, some of the machines are broken and no swimming pool.

The picture of the room at booking.com seems to be from when it was new, now it has advanced wear&tear, the hallway carpet outside the room in terrible shape. We booked another hotel before our return

I stayed at this hotel and loved its central location—everything is easily accessible by foot or car. A standout feature is the nearby halal restaurant, just a 3-minute walk away, serving delicious and affordable food. Perfect spot for anyone looking to explore the city with comfort and convenience. Highly recommended!

While the staff at the hotel’s counter and lobby were friendly and welcoming, my experience with the spa staff was extremely disappointing. My husband and I each had separate massage sessions, and the service was not only unprofessional but inappropriate. The massager made an offensive offer to my husband, suggesting a sexual massage to "strengthen his performance," which was completely inappropriate and out of line.As for my own massage, it was equally unsatisfactory. The room was too bright when it should have been dim for a relaxing atmosphere, and the massage itself was rough and uncomfortable. It felt more like scrubbing than an actual massage, leaving me tense instead of relaxed.I cannot recommend the massage services here at all, and I advise others to look elsewhere for a professional and relaxing experience.

dirty bed and pillow is not standard for hotel. Had asked the houskeeping to change but no one came. bad service.

The foyer was nice and they had live music which played soothing music in the evening. There was a kettle and bar fridge and safety box in the room.

The room didn't look like the photos and it smelt musty and not fresh. So that was off-putting. The staff spoke no English and communication for the taxi was problematic. The exhorbitant price for the taxi there and back from the airport was as much as the room cost for the night. They only paid the taxi 50% of what they charged me, which in my opinion was unfair. We were both ripped off.

We had an early flight, and they volunteered to make us a a very good takeaway breakfast. Also, the hotel is right next to a huge mall.

Very good location, close to the pier, nice choice for people who come back from Bunaken by the public boat. About 30 minutes' drive to the airport (with no traffic jam), but it's better to reserve 1 hour in case of the traffic in Manado city.The facilities of the hotel are very good, although the interior decoration of the room is slightly old, but the room is overall clean and refreshing, and with nice view.Staffs are very nice and friendly.I definately will choose Aston again next time.

Slightly far from the centre.The glasses / mugs weren’t properly cleaned. Had some stains around the edges, quite disgusting to be honest. The socket on the desk is not working.

Absolute gem of a hotel. Only stayed for one night but wished it was longer. Comfortable beds. Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff from the general manager to our waitress Stella. Good internet.

Very few restaurants around but it doesn't matter because the hotel restaurant has such a wide menu at reasonable prices. Complete with piano player and singer.

Geiby Janet is an asset to your hotel. She went out of her way to help me. Facilities are clean nice and comfortable and amenities are great

Dry hotel (and fake bacon if that's your thing) but they don't tell you that and Booking.com let them get away with actually promoting a 'nice bar'. The lounge bar area is also commonly used for loud music and private events so its not actually available (or pleasant). I'm sure this place is ok for some people, but I wouldn't stay there again. Its also old and run-down. Not a fan of the area either. Much nicer places just out of town.
