Sacious rooms but no Wifi- zero wifi connection-

No or very oor in-room wifi- sent so much on hotsots with my TELEFone

Upscale stay in Balikpapan. Next to a mall and outdoor activity area.

The location of the hotel at the mall was good as was the breakfast

The hotel is very basic and out dated. Does not look like the pictures anymore

Comfortable room and convenience location.

The food wasn’t the best

The staff were very friendly and service-oriented, really top-notch. The bell-hop and chauffeur named Huda was particularly good: very friendly, nice conversation, efficient and kind-hearted.

Not very clean: hairs in bathroom, mould here and there, oily floors. Breakfast was pretty bad too.

it is not a 5 star hotel standard. Room is big but not clean, floor was not cleaned, dusts everywhere, and the bedsheet was not changed, it was damp and I can see spots of drooling in there. I checked in late and had to ask for the bedsheet to be changed in front of me to make sure they actually change it not just tidying it up. there are only 2 body towels in the bathroom, 1 small shampoo and 1 small body wash. no amenities other than those two. no hairdryer, minibar was locked. hotels appearance is like a rundown hotel. I saw worker painting the wall in the hallway of the 7th floor. buffet food was not and do not taste good at all. this hotel should not be a 5 star hotel.

The Staff responsible is low.Order extra bed at 8 PM but delivered at 12 PM.On the next day requested to move to another room at 10 A.M. due to cockroach in room, as per staff another room will be ready at 12, but the room was ready at 4 P.M.After shifting the room again found cockroach.In the gym, towel is not provided.In the swimming pool also no towel provided and no lifeguard available.

Aircond central cannot be operated properly. Room was so cold.

The location is great, right next to e-walk.

The towels almost torn, they need to change them for the sake of 5 stars reputation. Breakfast was very limited! Had a breakfast at 8.30 AM and most of the side dish were empty, no refill at all whatsoever.

I had a couple of minor issues with my room and the response I got from the manager and his team was excellent. They all went out of their way to accommodate me and make me feel welcome and at home. I will certainly return to stay there again. The room was great, bed very comfortable and the shower was hot with a good pressure. Also there is a nice bar with great local and western food so for me it ticks all the boxes.

Only issue is the erratic Wi-Fi but unfortunately that is all over Kalimantan. So it is not the hotel's fault, they tried their best.
