We stayed the night before and after our trip to Mount Bromo & Ijen. Rooms are maybe a bit outdated but comfortable and clean. Hotel restaurant also has good food and lots of different options to choose from. The hotel staff is definitely what made our stay, all of them are so lovely and they are willing to do everything for you! Especially the lady from the front office who checked us in both times. Thank you for having us and we will recommend others to stay with you.

I like the hotel location that close to 'Kota tua' and kya kya.

Hotel surround, facilities and the room is narrow, no mini refrigerator in the room. And the lighting is not bright enough.

Room was relatively clean, breakfast was varied. But they tried to clear my plate while I was still eating.

Bathroom sink was caked in dirt and walls were peeling. I requested a room cleaning one day and the guy knocked before I had a chance to go out. I asked him to wait 5 minutes and he was not happy. When I came back, the shower smelled like someone had urinated in it.The beds were too soft and the mattress was split. The windows had black mould on the outside and didn't look like they'd been cleaned in a very long time.I asked for a breakfast box as I had to leave early on checkout and they gave me a smelly box of food I couldn't eat. Nothing like the daily breakfast.Location quite far from everything except Chinatown. Trash-filled streets around the property.

Fantastic location right in the heart of Surabaya. Within walking distance to a few sights. The staff are very friendly and helpful, room is quiet and comfortable and the breakfast is incredible.

The hotel lobby design is very retro and unique, The location is very convenient, not far from nearby shopping malls.

The cleanliness of the room needs to be improved. There is mold on the edge of the bathroom, which is disgusting every time I take a shower.

Very cozy & nice hotel. All area look clean & tidy. Good touchLove itMy suggestion: there is no hairdryer in the room. It's a possible for the HK to provide and guest can call to use/borrow Nice set up buffet breakfast, but better if the food is hot, other that Soto ayam & omelette ???

Everything was perfect. Great food, good room, very nice bathroom with hot water, good WiFi and a great Pool area and good breakfast.

Friendly helpful staff.

Sour con didn't work. Moved is to another room. It was the same. 10pm. Too tired to move again. Maybe check the rooms before putting guests in.

The Queen Deluxe room and rest of the hotel are fabulous and the staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was lovely, and the location is at the edge of Old Town and Chinatown. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a wide variety of choices.

Unfortunately, dinner did not meet the quality standards of the rest of the hotel.

Super clean, super nice personnel. Breakfast was amazing, the atmosphere and quality of the hotel.

We booked two rooms this time for 4 of us. The rooms were comfy, breakfast spread was decent. Staff were efficient and attentive.

We had minor issues with the A/C and the key cards which were eventually resolved. Thank you!

We only stayed at the Kokoon hotel for one night but it was perfect for what we needed. We were able to use the gym and the pool before having a delicious meal at the restaurant. The breakfast was also extremely varied and delicious.

There wasn’t much to explore in terms of the local area, but that didn’t bother us for the stay

Great location near China town and several attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The room air conditioning only worked when the card was in which meant that when I checked in the room was musty and stuffy

The fact that the swimming pool couldn’t be really used by us since it was crowded with islamic people. We didn’t feel comfertable to get in the pool in our swimming suit.

We just needed a place to stay for one night before we take the train to our next destination. It’s situated in the heart of Chinatown, and isn’t very far from Tunjungan and Old town. Pretty good for value if you’re on a budget like us.

We stayed in the 'King Room with Pool View' for just one night. It was decent, but the room could have been cleaner.

We only stayed for 1 night (arrived late and left early). But the dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant were very good.

The reception was under construction and was currently in the back of the hotel, not really a place to receive guests.

The hotel has a uniqe and charming aesthetic and the restaurant has a good menu. As vegans they were happy and able to change a few things to suit our needs. The pool is lovely and the rooms are clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Location wasn't near walkable things, but the hotel offers transfers and are happy to help.

The food and the service were wonderful. the swimming pool was great.
