We checked in early, but the sheets hadn’t been changed. We had to ask. No tea or coffee. I won’t really more.

The location and staff were excellent. The facility for drinking water was good and appreciate the thought of avoiding plastic c waste.

Room was a little too small. Didn't have much space for storing luggage. Bathroom too tiny. Actually the tiniest bathroom I have ever seen. Inside of the toilet was cracked throughout. Definitely time for a change. Nevertheless, room and bathroom were clean and staff were very welcoming.

Very comfy bed. Fast check in . Helpful staff help arrange taxi to airport and gave us a morning call. Very reasonable price.

AC is too cold - not able to control

Located along same road as Tunjungan Plaza, approx 9mins walk from the “west most” Exit as Tunjungan Plaza is big and long. Breakfast is good and value for money. Staff was excellent especially Pak-Wahyu who went out of the way to arrange “breakfast bento box” pick at 11:00pm just before my 12:00mid-night Mt Bromo tour departure. Pak-Wahyu actually came up to my room and get me to choose one of 3 options for breakfast bento box.

the location is on the city center so it is close to a lot of places. the staffs were friendly. they gave free water refills using water dispensers. the hairdryer was strong.

the room is small, especially the bathroom. you have to request for amenities.

The hotel is in a strategic location—city center, near malls and shops.

Staff was communicative during check in time and hotel located in the heart of surabaya city. The room and towels are clean.

Only 1 toothbrush available in my room and during the 2nd day of stay, someone knocked and open the doors before our permission granted

The hotel is in a very good location, with a convenience store nearby and a large mall just a ten-minute walk away. The room size is satisfactory for the price, and it’s well-equipped. There’s also a small bar in the lobby downstairs. The breakfast was excellent.

There were noticeable stains in the corners of the bathroom, and I had to clean them myself with alcohol.

Good location close to the city center, some great restaurants nearby e.g. Black Owl. We had to go without breakfast for two mornings because the tours started very early. The only breakfast we enjoyed was good, buffet-style, but the coffee machine is too complicated to operate and without previous experience with such a device or outside help, you can't make good coffee.

As I said before, operating a coffee machine is too complicated and without prior experience with such a machine or outside help, you cannot make good coffee (espresso).

Service, room, meals

The room was clean and comfortable, offering great value for the price. The hotel's location is also very convenient. Furthermore, I was very happy with the free potable water tanks in the hallway.

The staff is very friendly but either poorly trained or simply incompetent. When I checked in, I specifically requested a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room, forcing me to change rooms. I also informed them that I suffer from insomnia and needed a quiet room, yet they placed me in a hallway filled with noisy guests—a couple with the TV blasting at maximum volume for hours and a group of teenage girls chatting and laughing. At 23:30, a family with a screaming young child was put in the room right next to mine. Despite knowing about my insomnia, the staff still assigned them there. When I asked the family to keep it down, they refused. As a result, I had to switch rooms a second time, this time at midnight while being in pajamas. When I raised my concerns, the staff simply responded, "We don't know who will be in the room next to you. We might put another family with a child there." That level of disregard and poor planning is both incompetent and frustrating. At 6:30 AM, the hotel started blasting loud ambient music in the hallway on my floor—because apparently, someone thought that was a good idea at that hour. People were sleeping! I called reception, and they seemed surprised by my complaint, which only highlighted their incompetence. They promised to turn it off—but didn’t. The music kept playing. Hopeless...

We're 2 adults with 3 and 6 year old kids. We stayed 3 nights. The room spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff is nice and very helpful. There are two water refill stations in the corridor - great! The hotel location is perfect for us. It's in the center of the city and just 10 minute drive to the old town of Surabaya (Pasar Atom, Peneleh, etc). There is Indomaret convenient store just next to the hotel to buy snacks, medicine and coffee. Just across the hotel is Gramedia bookstore, very big and has a good collection of art supplies and books.

It would be so much better if a mini refrigerator is provided in the room.
