Hotel 88 Embong Kenongo by WH

Location was good with no problems for checkin.

Very few amenities and hot water was not working.

Very friendly staff, great variety of food at the breakfast buffet and clean rooms.

Great location, clean, aircon worked very well, breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again but never in room 323 - see the reason below.

We were in room 323 - which was the worst. I have been traveling Southeast Asia for 7 months and this was the worst nights sleep I have had. The walls are so thin and every 30 minutes starting around midnight there was a loud noise like a door slamming or someone dropping a heavy sandbag that would repeatedly wake us up. This room also sits directly in front of the breakfast area. Level 2 technically is where breakfast is served but for some reason level 3 also served breakfast but at a different time. At around 5AM the staff started loudly setting up for breakfast by pulling tables and chairs around and then the amount of people that chatted and loudly ate there was also unpleasant.

Room wasn't big (though big enough for me), but very clean and new - very comfortable. I paid for breakfast and it was definitely worth it - a brand mix of Indonesian, Chinese and western food - very delicious and plentiful.

This hotel is perfectly acceptable. The room was clean, well equiped. Service was prompt and helpful. There is a nice breakfast. It's situated in a calm street.

Clean room and bed. Hot shower with good pressure. Walkable to a couple malls. The lack of windows didn't bother us.

Further from the train station than stated. About a 20 minute walk.

It’s NOT 350 metres from the train station. Very annoying… more like 1.5 klms. If you chose it mainly to be close to the station then be aware.

The breakfast is not as shown in the pictures. It only serves Indonesian food (of good quality). Dinner buffet is only available on Sundays. A la carte every day.

- The hotel starts playing annoying music at six AM in all corridors, waking everybody up for no reason.- Very thin walls between rooms.

the room was decent and clean, but the wall seems a bit thin, so if the next room move their chair or tabe then I can hear the sound loud and clear, but the hotel was quite clean and quiet so no problem with sleeping at all, and it's close to a shopping mall

the wifi was so slow and unreliable, so it's difficult to work here with laptop

The staff is very friendly and are keen to help in their best English. We were very happy with the breakfast, it looked very professional. The location is very chill as well, the big shopping malls are a few minutes away.

We had a leaking airconditioner in our hotel room, fortunately we could change rooms. The lack of O2 and the freezing AC made us sick. The hotel lacked oxygen and felt dampy, windows couldn’t be opened and the AC was freezing. The music in the hallway was quite loud, even till late, and made us feel like we were sleeping in a mall.

Staffs are helpful, friendly and very polite. The locations are also perfect close to everywhere in the city. Surprised about the breakfast, really really good and lot of choices.

The only thing I don't like it, because in the room there is no window

I like that the bed is clean.

-The sound of the AC is too loud, also the AC leaking water- I smell a cigarette in the bathroom, probably from the ventilation. So i have to turn on the ventilation all day just so the smells of cigarettes doesn’t enter the room

The location is good.

The soundproofing of the room is not great.

The room is small but very well organized.
