Aria Centra Hotel Surabaya

the staff were helpful

there were cockroaches, amenities weren’t completed

Nice room. Good breakfast. Good price.

The view from the kamar . It was my birthday but I did not get a little present Cry Cry

Breakfast was good. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Room reeked of cigarettes and had bugs crawling around on the floor. Not good for families.

Nice and clean, close to city center but located at a quite street. The staffs are very friendly.

There are not many restaurant options and convenient stores nearby. Need to walk to main streets.

The location was great. Close to lots of places that we wanted to visit.Value for money and allow us to check in early.

Breakfast options were not too many. Lots of the bread options were not fresh.Need improvement with the menu.

it’s close to the big mall, fast WiFi, close to train station

I can’t think any

This hotel is the most luxurous place I have stayed in! I booked our room in the last moment so we did not expect anything special. The hotel is very high so you can get a good view of Surabaya from your room. Plenty of food to choose from for breakfast. Good location-10-15mins away on foot is located the biggest mall in Surabaya where you can find plenty of things and cheap food. The price of the room was perfect-its cheap.

Location, the new renovated rooms after I complained of the dirty old room they tried to give me

No aircon in the hall ways!

Three fast lifts to connect the different floors. Exceptionally polite and attentive staff. Live music on some evenings. Located close to a main shopping centre.

Struggling to think of anything. This hotel had everything I needed.

It’s clean and new furniture. Good location

The lobby is crowded. It would be excellent if they make it bigger

There were a lot to choose from the breakfast spread

There were baby roaches in the room. Bathroom floor was slippery.

The staff at this hotel were greatVery attentive to all requestThe location close many shopping mallsThe bed comfortable The location is also close to most tourist sightsAfter pointing out the problems as listed in the dislikes section, staff moved us to another room which was much better

The hotel is very dated I was put in a room with no soap holders, the towel rack falling off the wall & the safe was broken with part missing (See attached photos)Breakfast and ordered meal of poor hotel standardIts must be difficult for such wonderful staff putting up with a dated hotel

The only good about the hotel is the location in city centre.Apart from it, nothing else nothing much. Avoid staying here at all costs.I was staying at this hotel 6 years ago and it was truly impressive back then. All clean and restaurants food were impressive. Now... not so much

1. Room: badly decorated. Imagine you unstick a wallpaper and leave the glue residue there. That's what the wall coverings are. Dirty bed sheets, and our babies are bitten by some kind of insects, even though we asked to change bed linen almost everyday2. There's plenty of stains on the bathroom. They also seemed to use very cheap quality shampoo and liquid soap.3. Parking: Small basement parking, and steep climb to the lobby drop off area. If you drove a sedan or low ground clearance car, expect to scrap bumpers here. Vallet is provided though 4. Restaurants: this is the worst part of our experience. Each breakfast food left nothing to be desired. Most proteins are some kind of meat fried and covered in flour batter. There's traditional corner, but none really give any appetite. The yellow rice was hard, the traditional jamu seems not original, taste more like syrup. We truly not appreciating staff's attention to cleanliness. Whenever each morning we got to restaurants for breakfast, seems very hard to find a clean table. We asked numerous times for a waiter to clean the table, and they use a very oily cloth to do so. I had to pick a tissue to clean the table, but the very kind waiter does not bother to help anymore.Overall I was very disappointed in this hotel. Seems the management does not brother with any cleanliness standard, nor customer hospitality.

Room were clean and spacious. The location near to city center, you can go to some of the city attraction by foot if you prefer.

No swimming pool. There was only 1 spa therapist, and she only willing to handle 1 customer at the time we want to book the service.

There were 3 beds.

Being put in a smoking room even though non-smoking. The smell was horrible and every breath felt toxic. When we requested to move rooms the next day this was accommodated but don’t know why we weren’t put in there in the first place. Breakfast wasn’t great, and tables weren’t cleaned after use. And the rooms weren’t clean. I found bugs and lots of stains.

Staff were polite and attentive.

Dirty old stained with hole linen and bath towel. There's no place to put any toiletries in the shower room.

Spacious room, with good wifi

The hotel is old, so is the facility. Also it was not so clean, the towel has stains, and bugs flying in breakfast place…

Prime location, clean room, delicious breakfast and friendly staffs. The hotel provided us with baby cot which was in a great size for my 18mo daughter

Few stains in the cot mattress, and the bedding linens, but i’m sure it was clean just not properly removed. no hairdryer in the bathroom

The property is well located and the staff is nice. I would recommend to have better cleaning of the bathroom and the gym can be improved. All in all it was a good value for money.

Gym

Spacious rooms and terrific staff. We did have an issue with the breakfast one morning but the manager was very prompt to address the issue. He repeatedly apologized and offered to upgrade our room, which was to a lovely suite! The staff even offered to bring breakfast up to our room the next day!

The A/C in the rooms was not very strong. It was enough to keep it from being extremely warm based on the temperature outside, but would not cool to the shown temperature.
