Pros +
- We have stayed here several times passing through. The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff are just the best, friendly "Good People" you can find
- Familiarity, been staying there for decades.Availability of evening meals is a real plus.
- Having evening meals available is one of the things that keep us coming back. Convenient, very good and good value.
Cons -
- Standards are dropping, especially housekeeping. The previous occupants dodo was still in the shower and the carpet had a liberal coating of biscuit crumbs. They were still there next morning so I guess there aren’t any mice, which is good.
- Have been staying here for close to 30 years and it’s about time the rooms received some TLC.

location, staff, parking
The very very uncomfortably hard bed
Great size room that was very quiet.Spotlessly clean and comfortable
Staffs were amazing and accommodating
Very basic and often lack of toileting accessories, extra blanket and coffee sachets.
The room was large and the bed was comfortable. It was clean, but some of the linen was a bit shabby. It's good value for money if you're happy with basic accommodation.
The air-conditioning was noisy and cut in and out all the time. The room was dated and the lights above the bed were non-existent (no bulbs), so no bedside lamps. There are no powerpoints near the bed for phone, etc..
It was a good place to stay one night. Rather noisy because the sound of many air conditioners on one side and the proximity of the A1 traffic on the other side. The bed is ok and amenities are old but clean. The staff is very friendly.
Not simple to resolve but the noise....
Good location. Clean and comfortable, nice views from room overlooking the hills We ordered room service for dinner and enjoyed. Also breakfast was served and a great start to a day on the road.
It was clean and it is a pet friendly motel, which had a grass gated area. Shower was great.
The room was out dated and the box air conditioner needs to be upgraded, as it was very noisy.
The photos on booking.com are not a true reflection of this motor inn. The motor inn is on the outer edge of Rockhampton’s with nothing really close. The room was old with several lights not working, cigarette butts everywhere, the bed was bowed in the middle and facilities were generally old and “unloved”. It was apparent that many people reside here on a permanent basis with kids bouncing balls off cars and running rampant, a domestic next door and police turned up to another room - for what reason I don’t know. We checked out after 30 minutes. The lady asked our concerns, she was lovely and tried her best but I would never recommend a stay here - by far the worst place I have ever stayed and booking.com should review their photos as they are not a true reflection.
The bed was comfortable and quiet.
The room was a bit dirty and dusty, and the shower and facilities were old. There was no milk in the fridge for coffee and no teaspoons either. Expensive for what it is.
Location, dog friendly x. 2 rooms at the back so away from traffic noise, manager tried to be helpful with difficult, noisy and selfish neighbours
Only two dog rooms. Neighbour had obnoxious kid who would not stop teasing our dogs, then they left their happy thing alone in the room half the night whilst they went out. Smokers in the carport right next to our entrance so smoke coming into the room, fence to dog yard broken. Was a great place but now very run down and in severe need of a face lift.
Location suited us at northern side of the city as we were heading north the following morning so didn't have to go through city traffic. The shopping centre not far south from the motel had everything we needed. The room was basic but value for money.
All good was clean and tidy and staff friendly
Was what we needed for a night while relocating. Had our pets with us, so that was our priority. Staff were amazing, helpful, friendly.
Dinner was quite nice and bed sheets were clean. TV did work as did AC.
WiFi was very slow and kept dropping out so may as well not have been there - gave up on it both morning and night. A number of the lights in the room did not work. Carpets were very dirty. Property and decor was quite dated.
Nothing but frustrated me the most was the fact that they had no Wi-Fi and I needed to do my work stuff which was very frustrating and there was no cutlery just had cups and mugs. There was a weird smell in the room. The doors don’t lock the key was practically useless and there’s so much noise

The pool was empty, the restaurant closed providing room service only, nowhere nice to sit outside. We left soon after checking in we felt we took a wrong turn and were in the undesirable part of town. We booked elsewhere.
Travelling with my elderly mum, we had a twin room with queen/single beds. We found this place a little dated in the decor but clean and comfortable. The vanity had a full width bench so plenty of room for all our toiletries (big plus) and full complement of linen and complimentary soaps, etc. The aircon was great and kept us beautifully cool, but too noisy to sleep with, unfortunately. We availed ourselves of the guest laundry and it was great to have the dryer with all the ex-cyclone Alfred rain that dogged our trip.
