Pros +
- It had character. Excellent location. Lovely balcony. We were comfortable. It's a quiet hotel. Very well priced.
- Cancelling 2nd night and going somewhere else
- Lovely historic building and very nice staff but tired interior decor, very poor kitchenette facilities ,the saucepans needed to be binned! No air-conditioning in second bedroom and very hot at night.
Cons -
- Took long time to get checked in by bartender. Stairs/hall carpets filthy. Bathroom was like a horrid service station bathroom. Furniture broken and carpet worn thru in room. Used glasses and full ashtray on room balcony. Only public street parking.
- Twice I've stayed, and twice I've booked a room with a balcony and twice I did not get a room with a balcony
- Nothing really.

Was a quick and easy transaction and staff were accommodating with an early check in

The location was good and close to everything. Have stayed there before. Stayed at Dennison boutique the night before very disappointing Have stayed there before too. Not worth the money.
Nothing really.
Evening meal
People smoking upstairs in accommodations Excessive noise from patrons & car’s doing burnouts & racing all night long ?
It’s right in the middle of Rockhampton. There’s a restaurant downstairs which the food is great. There’s stores and restaurants down the road walking distance.
The room was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest/s. Walking up 3 flights of steps with heavy luggage is a bit annoying.
I had a Room with a Balcony.
I booked a Double Room. I got a Room with 2 Bunks. I paid for a Double Room. The Hotel was not at Fault. Booking.com should not have let me book a Double Room coz they had Events there & was told they were all booked out with the Double Rooms.
Room was clean, tidy, good size, with access to the balcony. Staff were great, friendly, helpful and professional! The location is perfect, near to both the river and the towns facilities. Bathroom is clean and bright and well looked after. Meals in the hotel were excellent. It is an enjoyable stay and well worth a visit.
It was quite comfortable and awesome location .
The drunks on the balcony, talking loudly till around 12am. Not happy
Heritage rooms!!!! Nice but really need to upgrade your sinks in rooms Very outdated and a little stained
Being a pensioner carrying 20 kg up to the top of the stairs was difficult
appalling
I was turned away at 4.30pm with no room available to me. I had already been charged by my account and this problem is still not rectified.
I only stayed one night so just for a shower and a sleep and to get a cup of tea when I woke up. The bed was very nice and clean. I did get 6 hours of good sleep and a shower. So it's okay if that's all you need for a night. I was not really expecting it to be anything great.
It felt really creepy and disgusting. I did not want to sit on any of the furniture so only used the bed to sleep in. I had just come from Dalgety apartment in Townsville, so this was really making it feel worse, (now I have been spending a week at Coco brew apartments in Rocky). I also got the horrors for a little while before I fell asleep as it just did not feel like a place I should've been. However I knew I was taking a risk as I had arrived very late after midnight. There was smoke smell when I opened a door to relieve the stuffiness.
Shared bathroom was a little manky. No noise insulation from the bars over the road which kept me awake for a good hunk of the night
The above
A/C and coffee in the room
Bar down many people strange
Stayed here heaps of times and always enjoy it, very pleasant and staff are always polite and friendly! And the food is absolutely amazing!!
Just a few rude guests making noise at a late time through the night! But not the Heritage’s fault
Not much. Location.
Tv broken, no air conditioning remote, no milk
the area, some of the bar staff, the bed, the size of the room
the coffee in the room was hard and changed colour, we stayed for seven days, nothing was refreshed, same towels all week, only one of the coffee was drinkable ran out of sugar after two days. some of the bar staff.
Good location, Dillon is a lovely guy.
Each night people, although not meant to, were out on the balcony, drinking and making noise till late.
Price, cleanliness, location
Dated, creeky doors and floors
