Grand Hotel Mount Morgan

Well the room wasn’t at the Hotel but a minute drive down the street. It was clean and comfortable.

Not enough power points. Just enough for appliances! Should have at least one next to the bed

The grand hotel is centrally located in Mount Morgan, easy walk to shops and the local Cafe.

The stairs to the rooms. I have arthritis in the knees, so it was a bit of an effort to walk up and down.

Convenient location, nice room great staff and nice dining room.

Food was not nice at all, bangers & mash was horrible, & crumbed steak wasnt nice.

Room was very clean and modern

The receptionist couldn't even count out $140 in notes when we went to pay

Excellent location have stayed on a few occasions en suite bathrooms are excellent, not Rooms 1&2 are actually opposite the room. Great food friendly staff.

Location, staff and ambience. The breakfast was good, self serve continental style, limited but adequate

Heating was dated as was the facility, air conditioner needs updating (given it was a historic building they may have problems changing)

Bathroom was spotless. Very comfy bed..Great meals in the bistro.

Stairs to room were a little challenging but what would you expect in such a lovely old pub.

Great location fantastic food. Staff went out of their way to make us welcomed.

Being an old pub the character was brilliant. The staff were excellent. We had the best steak dinner. The property is currently being upgraded which will only make it better. If ever going through Mount Morgan again will most definitely stay again.

Noisy aircon, steep flight of stairs (challenging for the elderly with luggage), no off-street parking.

The pub itself and location was good

Firstly staffs was terrible with service, we stay there with our friends just to check out little towns. Eat there drinks there and stay there for the night , we have to wait around 10 minutes to get served each time we order drinks and I wait a good 15-20 minutes to order my food . Lots of staffs there 4 of them but only 1 actually working the rest just mucking around with each other but the terrible ones is the male staff , he there all night but I see he actually working couple time . All of them need to get proper training such as service . “ Served customers first before you do your own thing “ and I don’t know how they pass their RSA , few people get so drunk and falling over still get served alcohol. Anyone travelling there in future prepared your self for bad service.Secondly our room got little bug flying around everywhere not just one or two either. Its more than 20 of them. I got video of them

Great location in a historic hotel

Room comfortable but small

We had a comfortable room within the old historic Mount Morgan pub. It has a lovely shared verandah outside the rooms and was a nice spot to eat our breakfast.

The ensuite to the family room is across the hallway directly in front of the room. It is lockable from both sides and is not really a big deal just slightly inconvenient. No plates or knives provided but there was a toaster!!!

Loved the generosity of the property. Had a lot of character. Great people and staff.

A little old and smoky.

Cheap and cheerful, delightful country pub in a pretty little town . The best chicken parmy ever !! Very friendly helpful staff .
