Cosmopolitan Motel & Serviced Apartments

The room was really nice and clean.

I was visiting from another country and locked my keys in the room in the miiddle of the night there was no receptionist at all no number for after hours to help. It was really scary being alone in a city I knew nothing about.

The showers were not up to standard for disablity especially for a person that can not see. She was frightened to have a shower,because she could of fallen She also has Parkinson's.No cultry knives and forks.

When I arrived, the lady at reception was busy and flustered. She was not friendly and welcoming at all! I did not mind waiting a few minutes, as she asked, but she came across as rude. When I asked where i could park (there was already a car outside my unit), she rudely insisted on switching my room. The cleaners were still working. They were playing music loudly and yelling out to each other, talking. I just wanted to relax, as my flight landed at 10am, check-in was 2pm. I was in ROK to attend a funeral the following day.

The property was over booked and our booking was not honoured. We did not stay and demand a full refund

As you drive in the old equipment in the driveway gives you a sense of foreboding. Get to the room door is stuck. Walk in too a weird smell. Patched unpainted walls. Tv did not work no back on remote. Blanket in cupboard had stains all over it. Shower was a dribble. Hardly any hot water.

Horrible call from reception lady! Ruined a great 1 night stay from her unprofessional call.When we arrived at our booked room at 8pm there was only 2x warm blankets folded inside the sliding cupboard - a very large Black one and a small light blue one.We got an sms on the day we checked out saying they were going to charge us $50 for a missing blanket? We called to let them know that there was only 2x not 3x as she claimed there was a 3rd. Then she yelled saying she saw 3x ? And still insisted we took one? And was very aggressive and loud on the phone - then hung up while we were trying to tell her there was only 2x - tried to call back but she never answered our call - so left a message!will write up another review once she decides to steal $50 from our account!My advice! To take pictures of the room and its contents upon arrival and send it to them asap! so this doesn’t happen to anyone else!

Location is great and handy to all necessities. Staff are friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. The pool and amenities are maintained to top standards and they have lovely dessert roses in pots as well as maintained gardens

Amenities were clean and the location great. It was a little noisy and towelling wasn't changed daily which was disappointing.

Bed was very comfortable. After hours check in and before hours check out were easy to do. Couple of decent restaurants within walking distance

I liked that we got to stop driving on our long journey and sleep in a bed for the night, and I really appreciated there being aircon.

The reviews and pictures on booking.com led us to believe this would be a good family-friendly motel to stop at with our young children on our long drive. Not sure what the algorithm is up to on this site, but it certainly works in this motel’s favour and all the positive reviews here were not our experience at all, or as we later found out, those of many others. When looking on other booking sites after arriving, we discovered the majority of the reviews were actually quite negative, and if we had seen them beforehand we would have definitely booked elsewhere. This motel was rough. Definitely sketchy things happening in the carpark and among our neighbors, tv didn’t work/wouldn’t turn on, pool was locked up so out of use, lightbulbs out in the room, mattresses had no mattress protectors, when you walk in you definitely question the sanitisation/cleanliness of the space, bathroom sink falling apart, front door not incredibly secure, 7/11 just around the corner was broken into & vandalised the night we were there making us question the safety of the area, did not feel incredibly safe sleeping here. Hate to leave such a negative review but felt we were definitely misled through the description and reviews here!

Expected balcony and privacy and nice pool area with room service. No remote for TV, no privacy, no balcony, pool dirty and area run down not like pics on website.
