· We thought we would try the restaurant which turned out to be a disappointment .We ordered the Funguy Mushroom Bruschetta. The bread was that dry you couldn¿t cut it with a knife and you had to break it in your hand it was suppose to have lemon Balsamic

Close to river & Coffee Club

The pool was out of action, it was summer & very hot & coming from Tasmania we were looking forward to having pool outside our door.We weren't told the room wouldn't be serviced on Xmas eve & we ran out of toilet paper & there was no staff at reception to ask for some. There was only the roll on holder, no spares.There were no grab rails in shower for my elderly mum.

Great size bed. I love places that use king size beds and this one of only a couple in Rockhampton that I have found that has them.

Nice and quiet & secluded from noise & trafficPerfectly located to great food facilities & shoppingWill definitely be staying again, & hoping to try the restaurant as this visit it was very full

With the location next to the river, and walking distance to retail shopping.

Staff were lovely. Rooms nice and clean. The restaurant was very nice with great service. Right on the river bank. Lovely close walks or runs with plenty of walking distance to other restaurants.

My room backed onto a Bikers pad; they stayed up all night; I was alone and felt very unsafe! I got no sleep!They need to screen this area, make sure if you do book here that you do not get a room to the back of the property!

Close to CBD, bed was comfortable, clean rooms and friendly informative staff

I didn't stay here. They refused me due to being a local.. I hope I wasn't charge for this. Poor behaviour

Love the motel. It’s a real gem. The swimming pool and coconut trees with lawn in the centre are a lovely setting. Always clean and tidy. The family who run the motel are absolutely wonderful and have excellent, attentive and friendly staff. Restaurant is great with an atmospheric deck out front and yummy food.

The Internet connection is really bad. Can’t watch anything on laptop or even on my phone. That’s the only negative about this place.

Single night stay. Staff attentive and helpful. Water ready in fridge and cold.

Loud co-residents late into night. Being a Friday somewhat understandable, but I needed to leave early next morning. No hot water in the morning.Confused over room service. Sticker on front of welcome book saying it is available, and then declaring no room service on the menu in the book.

It was priced accordingly but rooms would benefit from some modernisation and a bit of brightening up. Facilities were adequate and comfortable enough. Not fancy but no complaints.

The air con was great and the bed was lovely and big. Very spacious room. We loved that the restaurant was just there and had a great menu to choose from. the staff were very friendly and interacted with us. Husband loved the high shower rose and spacious shower - He is over 6 feet and struggles with some motels. Staff also gave me our request of a ground level room. Husband has sore knees and this was much appreciated.
