Discovery Parks - Rockhampton

I liked the waterslide, swimming areas, games room and jumping pillow.

the surroundings and environment. Spacious room and facilities have been well maintained.

I booked the room for 4 days. No housekeeping. I guess I'll have to request. I think doona and bed sheets were not clean as there were stains on it.I had bug bites when I woke up. Apart from that, bed's comfortable and room nicely set up and clean.

The cabin layout met our needs and spacious for 6 people. However, with such a great pool and water features- not much time was spent in the cabin.

The wifi was weak at the best of times and reception had limited hours so was unable to get drinks/ice cream, or pay for the bikes after 445.

Easy to access and good value for money. Staff were helpful as I required an early check-in due to being at an event over the afternoon of check-in day.

The noise from the main road was horrendous at night (this is no fault of the location, as roadworks were occuring at the time during the night).

Clean. Easy walk to shopping centre. Quiet

The size of the shower area was quite small, but we aren't big people, so it didn't affect us.

Staff at check-in were really friendly. It was close to everything. The bed was comfortable.

It was very old and in need of a facelift. The blinds were thun and let in light all night from the fluoros outside so it seemed like daylight. It was quite noisy with people coming and going late night and early morning.

We liked all the selection of kids facilities. The barbecue areas and comfortable beds.

Not enough bins around the park.

We liked the cleanliness and location of Discovery Parks and our son loved the pools and water park faetures.

The unit was old and the couch had a lot of stains on it.

It was brilliant we have for Confro footy and we loved every minute of our stay

Ants but got that sorted very quickly it was just due to the rain

Unfortunately won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend this place for families, we only booked this place as our usual was fully booked for the weekend. Rooms were riddled with ants and cockroaches. Room smelt of mould and was damp/cold for my two children. Not enough towels provided for a long stay, kettle and toaster provided had cockroaches so we didn’t even bother using. Definitely not worth what you’re being charged to stay here. Bunk beds were pretty much a thin piece of foam and a thin blanket, not family friendly stay at all. Mould in bathroom, floor lifting.

Lots of room in the cabin. Option of pool areas was great.

I just thought the room could do with servicing more regularly, was not enough towels etc for a family on holidays I had to chase more a couple of times.

A fully furnished kitchen was excellent. Very clean, peaceful and our kids loved the water park and pools

Very clean and excellent facilities in the cabin.

There could have been a jug of water in the fridge, which would have been good to see. Would have been nice if the top bunk was made up. My daughter chose to sleep in the top bunk.

Great family park. Lots to keep young children entertained. Really close to shopping centres / food options.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and resolved our minor hiccups quickly. The facilities were well kept and great for the whole family.

Our only issue was the Wi-Fi but as the park was fully booked it was no surprise that it struggled to keep up with the demand.

Everything was tidy and clean. The cabin had everything you needed. There was so many activities at the park for people of all ages.

Was a little rowdy at one point but only because of the rockynats event. Would stay there again as the staff and amenities where excellent! The room had a good amount of space to come back to after a busy day of adventuring and unwind and we only had the unit.

We love the water park

Second bedroom for kids no aircon or fan Was raining so couldn’t open windows - meant adults couldn’t stay up in lounge as needed to leave door open for cooling.

Loved the room. It was perfect for a young family needing space. The splash pad was a hit with the kids and those who are young at heart.
