Room was in dire need of maintenance. All our belongings were infested with sugar ants when we woke in the morning.

Location, Clean, Comfortable and Ocean View Appartments.

Staff were very friendly kind and helpful a couple of things vacuum under the bed was not clean, also so much room in the bathroom yet the shower was so so small but would stay again thank you

Great location & clean. Was greeted with very friendly staff staying open until my arrival.

Unsafe and unsavourable.

There were other people scattered around the motel in communal areas who were rather disturbed. There were multiple fights going on in the parking area during the night which disturbed our sleep and made me feel very unsafe. After booking online with booking.com and having pair, we arrived for check in and there was $100 deposit demanded to check in. This was not expected.

Liked that it is central to shops and in walking distance. When longtermers kids were still running around outside at 9pm, owners came out and asked parent to keep them quiet.Room is large and spacious, linen is clean.

Decided to stay a second night, based on owners 'kiddy curfew' .as noisy tenants always seems to be an issue in Rocky wherever you stay. Welcome Home Motel did not disappoint. Four of the long term tenants sat outside drinking in the next room talking and arguing all night. Its now almost 6am Saturday morning and they're still out there. No owner in sight.Also detail to cleaning would benefit. Bits of food stuck on the counter, and someone before us has smeared a faint couple of lines of what Im guessing is poo next to the toilet roll.WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

Noise from other rooms. Had a storm and water came under door.

Very friendly Owner. Busy man but Smiling...Bed was very comfortable. It was quite in the room.

On arrival my husband was told that the air conditioning wasn’t working but there was a wall mounted fan that would be enough because it doesn’t get very hot !We are talking about Rockhampton in Summer !! He said we paid for an a/c room and that’s what we wanted. Then told no other rooms available however when my husband said no way, he changed his mind and said you can have this other family room but you can’t use the 2 SB …we only needed a QS bed. We left our stuff in the new room and when we came back they had been in our room and placed signs on the SB’s to say it would cost extra if we used these beds.Very dated, no bathmat, pillows paper thin.Not a pleasant experience when you are being conned into taking a room with no a/c ! Poor management !We would never ever stay there again even if it was free !!!

Cheap metal chairs that made a terrible noise on the tiled floor and a cheap metal bed that also made a terrible noise every time I rolled over

Late check in, very helpful staff.

Water run off created huge puddle at door. Door mat saturated and couldn’t avoid getting wet and making the floor inside wet and dirty.

Never got to stay in the room I paid for.

The fact that I was told there was going to be no extra charges but when I got there I was asked for an extra 100 and was refused a refund

It met the need for stop over on long drive.

Generally rundown, furniture showed aging and lots of wear and tear, traffic noise in front rooms, expensive for it's current condition.

She had a special parking spot reserved for us since we were towing an 8x5 box trailer.

Was a bit cool and wanted to warm up the place with the Aircon. Had it set to 30 degrees and was just blowing cool air ☹

Clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Friendly staff, easy check in, plenty of parking available, convenient location for onward travel and easy walk for nighttime meal.
