Pros +
- Interesting location, liked the history. Check-in staff were very nice & helpful.
- Suggestive area, lots of nature around.Great food. Comfy, very comfy bed.
- Location was beautiful. There was a nice walking trail located nearby. Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this property.
Cons -
- It only took one person to give us a negative impression - the restaurant hostess made us feel awkward and like we didn’t belong there. The limited menu was quite expensive (we’re used to Norway prices) - unfortunately that meal colored our memory of an otherwise ok hotel stay.
- Gym is tiny
- No dislikes.

Location was beautiful. There was a nice walking trail located nearby. Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this property.
A beautiful town and the hotel is in an ideal location. It’s being renovated and our room was freshly decorated and well proportioned. Bar was excellent and the “small plates” well beyond expectation.
Historical hotel, well restored and updated, informative displays about history, 5-star for breakfast buffet (included) and dinner, reasonable walk from train station, easy to enjoy local galleries, museums, stores and restaurants (loved Unami) and easy to get to trail built by Sherpas. Receptionists friendly and helpful.
No dislikes.
The location, because I came to see Sjøgata and its house.
Nothing particular. We were surprised there was no phone in the room (for eake,-up call).
Small economy room but with the hottest and most powerful shower in Norway
If there was a bar it was closed
Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed dinners in both the bar restaurant and also in the Ellen restaurant. Location was good, a short walk to Mosjøen center or to cross the bridge and walk or hike.
We only stayed one night on our way from the North. Pleasant breakfast, polite personel.
The room was definitely not 4 star standard. Needs renovation, not very clean. The family room was very cramped, the extra bed was in the middle, it was difficult to get through.
EverythingVery well locatedVery friendly and helpful staffVery beautiful hotelWonderful breakfast
Close supermarket. west side fill too hot in rom.
Lovely view.Awesome friendly staff.Great breakfast.Refrigerator .Elevator.Iron.Tea kettle.Out side sitting area fantastic.Fabulous windows.
No safety box .
Hotel in a good location. Breakfast was good, a typical transit hotel.
The room was a bit old.
The staff was kind!
No air condition in the room and too noisy outside to open the window. Poor ventillation/smell in the hallway! To pricey for what you get - we will not come back!
Really liked the historical site this is, and how the hotel has been able to take care of the past although it's a relatively modern hotel. Really nice and likable place with several smaller buildings. The surroundings were fantastic. Close to the river and to all the local small wooden houses. Also, the Tesla Supercharging area just outside the hotel.
Motorcycle parking just in front of the reception,.Beautifully and pleasant lobby and restaurant spaces. Excellent breakfast. Kindness and professionality of the hotel team.
Very charming old and well kept hotel. Food at the hotel Restaurant was delicious.
Very professional and friendly staff.Decent breakfastEasy parking (garage or in front of hotel)
Room and bathroom in desperate need of renovation.Unrelenting street noise! The hotel bar seems to be popular with joung Mosjoeners. (by lack of alternatives?)They arrive tipsy and leave drunk... (taxi stand beeing right by your window) Impossible to get a good night's sleep.
The location was great. On the river with easy walking to shopping and restaurants. Our room was charming and large with a seating area with a couch. The breakfasts were wonderful.
We were on the second floor and while there was an elevator in the building, the elevator didn’t access our floor.
Great place - the hotel is fantastic and that’s not only because of the great history, the furniture, the old pictures let the development staying alive. The room was nice and the view outside with all the water and mountains amazing.
It would have been good to know that you should book a table for dinner early, we checked in at 3 pm, nobody told us and when we wanted to have dinner at about 6 the restaurant was crowded and it was impossible to get a table.
