    Pros +

    • The rooms and the inside the hotel, rooftop
    • Staff was super helpful. Location is perfect for the Medina. Everything is walking distance.
    • Beautiful Riad that we totally enjoyed.

    Cons -

    • Some menus items out of stock
    • Bring a white noise machine - sounds travel through the walls pretty easily at night.
    • It was a little bit cold, but because it is January. We should have told the stuff.

The staff was perfect, very kind, very helpful. It is possible to park outside, the breakfast was good and ready very quickly. Very nice room!

Stayed here 3 nights found the host very accessible when I had a query. The room was very large with daily cleaning and bathroom was spotless. Had the breakfast and it was a traditional breakfast which was very good way to start the day. The location is on the edge of the medina which suited me as it was quiet but I was also able to explore the Medina at any time

The staff was extremely helpful with everything. They spoke good English, and they guided us in the medina to a very good local restaurant and to a phone agency. The classic Moroccan Riad was beautiful, especially the breakfast place and the bigger rooms.

Our stay was in the winter, and it was impossible to heat the 3 story room comfortably.

The hotel in general is a gem, but it needs urgent care in terms of refurbishing period many parts are old and poorly maintained. The hall for breakfast is beautiful, but extremely cold with no heating at all.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully maintained riad in the heart of the Fes medina. The building is stunning and our suite was elegant and comfortable. The central patio is truly lovely however it has the downside that we can hear other guests chatting, especially in the evening, which is not ideal when trying to sleep.Overall, this is a gorgeous riad with a lot of charm and comfort, well situated for discovering Fes. With a bit more sound insulation or quieter room options, it would be perfect.

The Moroccan tea and cookies at check-in were nice.

The room, while spacious, was dirty and in disrepair. The upholstery was threadbare in places, and the bed covers appeared dirty or perhaps clean but stained. You should also know that parking is not exactly onsite — it's a parking space on a VERY narrow street, so if you're not good at parking by a wall without scraping your car, this might be ok with you. This is very low-cost lodging, so if you're not picky about cleanliness, parking, and upkeep, the negatives I've mentioned may not be a deal breaker for you.

I stayed at Riad Damia for 3 nights and 4 days, and it was a wonderful experience. The riad itself is stunning with it's traditional charm and royalty. The hospitality was exceptional. Aasma, Hassan and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more warm & gave us a homely feel. We loved discovering the terrace, which was peaceful and beautifully designed; a perfect spot to relax after exploring the medina. The hamam and massage were fantastic as well, and the spa staff were amazing, professional & very dedicated.Overall, it was a memorable stay for me. I would definitely recommend Riad Damia to anyone visiting Fez!

A Palace like place near the gate of the old town. Staff is very helpful, even hire a nice taxi for me from Fez to Casablanca!!

Extremely accommodating, beautiful property , they put me in a room that shocked me. It must have had 25 foot ceilings . The AC unit was outstanding , and every inch of the room was detailed by wonderful handcraft. If I come back to Fes I will be staying here again without a doubt. The free breakfast was genuinely good aswell.

It was my first trip in Morocco, And seemed like a fairy tale of 1001 nights! I should say Ryad Damia was a crown of Moroccan wonderland, with its amazing architecture, extremely living and friendly staff, unique service tailored just for you!Love and care from staff we received, was incomparable!Asma and Hassan were amazing! They were arranging everything we needed with great professionalism !The guide Rashid was amazing and knowledgeable!I am humbled!

Accessible by car with free parking outside. The staff helped me resolve the parking dispute with the garage down the road . Got a room upgrade. Normal breakfast hour is 8:30, we asked and got full breakfast at 7am.Everything is perfect.

The building itself is absolutely stunning - beautiful traditional craftsmanship marks every doorway, ceiling, chair and table. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable and the breakfast simple but delicious. The little patio on the roof offers some lovely views of the city, and the great location puts you just a corner away from the start of the labyrinth that is the medina. But the genuine, welcoming staff are what truly made our stay special. Most especially Hassan, who went well out of his way to accommodate us, give us recommendations and made sure our experience of Fez was perfect. I would also highly recommend the Hammam here-the ladies were excellent and made it such a relaxing experience. We encountered quite a few tourists traps while travelling through Morocco, but this was honestly such a breath of fresh air! I cannot recommend it enough!

Absolutely no complaints - just wish we had more time here!

Inside and outside is so beautiful and huge. The staff were very kind to help us everything. The breakfast and the dinner were delicious.

The wifi was weak. For the second person there was no hot water to the shower. There was no wide range of choice of the breakfast.

One of the best riads we stayed during our tour in Maroc. Nice staff, nice location.

the breakfast was almost with sweet stuff. I had to ask for some eggs. I could not eat so much sweeties during breakfast. :)

Great place! Easy-accessible both by foot and by car. Really easy even for foreigners. Picturesque design, very spacious room with so many beds, 2 wcs, airco. We were not able to eat breakfast due to an early flight, but it was so sweet to get a take away pack. The staff was very friendly and helped us really a lot!

Due to huge windows from the room to hall it was a bit lacking some privacy, there were curtains of course. Our room was on the ground floor. But it's something we can stand getting that luxury local experience!

Wry helpful staff and nice facilities- our room was really big.

    Far from main Medina.

    Bad

The service is terrible, the accommodation is humid, dirty (cockroaches) and desperately needs maintenance:- When we arrived as two families and they seated us in the foyer "tea is arriving". Then angrily asked why we wanted to be shown to our rooms. We explained we're tired. They asked for immediate payment before showing me to a damp and smelly room on the 5th floor. They said it was because"you have booked the cheapest room". The terrace is full of old doors, dirty wet cushions, and old storage clutter.- Foyer ceiling is leaking badly. The bathrooms have cockroaches and doors need sanding to close properly. The towel hanger fell off. Breakfast is extremely poor and limited. Nothing like what's shown. Selling bottle refilled with tap water. Disgruntled reception staff, and premises in desperate need of maintenance. Shame as it has potential but not managed properly..The next day after checking out, they lied and cancelled with Booking.com, saying we never arrived, in an attempt to avoid a review.
