Pros +
- The riad is gorgeous, rooms are super comfortable and also extremely quite
- It’s a spectacular building with an amazing restaurant and good service.
- Rooftop terrace was nice.
Cons -
- This hotel is considered as a five star hotel, but the accommodations are fonot even one star hotel. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, Do Not stay here
- It is just too expensive for the quality of the service you are getting. There were several problems in our two rooms (heating not working properly, issues with drainage etc). The hotel restaurant Gayza is terrible. We got extremely overcooked chicken tajine and hen, we could not eat anything beyond a bite. The lobby felt chaotic at times (although I had emailed them beforehand about excursions we wanted to do, it seemed like they did not have it upon our arrival, everything worked out in the end but did not feel like it was well run)
- Unfortunately, it didn’t meet the expectations for a Relais Chateaux. For example, the lobby was diffused with an overpowering orange blossom fragrance that made lingering impossible for anyone. Also, the bathroom’s shower drain remained semi-clogged after numerous requests to correct.

Rooftop terrace was nice.
There were some repairs right next to our room until late evening. There were no promised view from our deluxe room.
It is beautiful beyond our expectations
We were not informed by the property (even though I called the property a day before and the day of check in) that there was no way to drive up to the property. So getting to the property was more stressful that it should have been.
The room was spacious and has a view on Fes and Riad. Really enjoyed the dining in the riad?
Amazingly beautiful Riad. Wonderful details and gems in every corner. Resturant was very good. Wonderful and helpfull Staff .
Parking was a bit of a challenge in the public garage / open yard.
Location , friendly and helpful staff , beautiful property
Where do I begin than with the concierge Nicolas as well as his extremely brilliantly chosen front staff who were some the greatest I have ever encountered in 25 years luxury travel. What an amazing team both front desk, recommendation for day guides and the Spa we fully took advantage of booking daily massages wit the masseuses and the luxurious Hamman experience that makes one feel like a Moroccan princess out of the fairy tales. The Maroc Maroc beauty treatments were luxurious and very high end as one who travels the most luxurious spas worldwide. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and while we were burnt out of fine dining the Terrace Bar served exceptional light American fair that we ate there 5 out of the 6 times on the roof since my American husband was missing American baby sliders after 12 Moroccan spicy food. The lamb burgers the drinks and the amazing bartenders on the Roof top bar with a view of a lifetime was an extraordinary experience at less than 30 dollars each that was a steal with that amazing once in a lifetime view. We were treated like royalty and when we decided to extend our stay and scrap the camel desert tour we luxuriated two more days in their Spa which stole the show. The hotel is gorgeous; food exceptional with Michelin star trained chef. We will come back again just to visit the hotel and Spa. Luxurious and sexy stay but then again, it was our honeymoon
Nothing to change.
Riad Fes is opulent. Everything about this place is amazing. Staff very kind and accommodating. Facilities are a marvel, really a breathtaking place. Best place I stayed during 2 week visit across Morocco (and I stayed at some very nice places)
That I had to leave
Beautiful and quite oasis
The service and choices of breakfast need to be improved. It a kind of regret to sit in the beautiful courtyard and can not find good food except unhealthy sweets.
Comfortable, quiet with a great rooftop
No lift
Riad Fes was outstanding in every way. The service, room, food, pool, terrace bar overlooking the Medina, and location were all perfect.
Nothing, it was perfect.
Wonderful staff, palace like hotel and restaurant with beautiful food and music
Location, beautiful property, great quality of food.
Rooms a bit dark.
The riad was beautifully appointed. Our room was private, spacious and very clean.
A lot of steps within the property
Nice cozy hotel
I booked a junior suite based on the photos in booking.com but it seems the suites are diffrent and didn't get what I booked at
Good location
The room did not have working A/C - it required fixing after we arrived. The room was furnished with used coffee pods that we had to replace after several requests. The gym equipment is generally old - the gym had one brand new treadmill, but the elliptical and the bike machine were too old to function properly. We had to cut our stay short by one night (for other reasons, nothing to do with the hotel), we settled the bill the night before departure, only to be met by a request at 5:30am on our departure from the front desk to pay the taxes for the night we were not staying, which we refused (because we were not staying that night). The whole thing could have been handled more thoughtfully.
Breakfast was exceptional and it felt more like being treated in a Michelin Star Restaurant. Very much impressed with the quality of food and presentation. The entire Riad is exceptionally beautiful with emphasis on privacy and never felt being in a hotel. Got upgraded to Calife Suite with private patio. No doubt, the best place to stay in the entire Medina of Fes !!! Rooftop bar was definitely a treat.
Everything was perfect, from courteous staff at the front desk to restaurant team, all the time being treated like a royalty.
Highly maintained modern property with Moroccan architecture. Good breakfast and facilities
Staff was good but for a property that is in the middle of nowhere their kitchens closed at 10pm. We arrived on a late flight and they didn’t even offer to make us anything. We had to ask them to get us something from outside. They also didn’t offer to drop us to the next Riad who didn’t have any porters . Felt that staff was doing bare minimum to keep things going
