Menzeh Zalagh 2Boutique Hôtel & Sky

I had a wonderful stay at the Menzeh Zalagh 2Boutique Hotel and Sky . I would really recommend it to any one biding Fez. The staff were very friendly and understanding. The breakfast was also amazing as well. I will definitely be coming back here for my next visit to Fed.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Hotel had a big pool and a garden.

I had to wait more than 5 mins for the hot water at the shower. What a waste of water… Breakfast did not meet my expectations.

The restaurant is actually just s buffet for busloads of tourists that arrive at 5pm. The food was not fit to eat. My wife was charged 41 Euro for wine that was undrinkable. There is a “Disco” that starts late in the evening that shakes the entire building. I went to the lobby at 2:30am to complain and there were no staff in the lobby. To his credit the manager moved us from the 2nd to the 4th floor the next night. The noise was much less. The dining room staff were extremely rude and unwilling to listen to us. The treatment by staff was a real overall negative of our time in Fez. We have spent 3 weeks so far traveling Morocco, this is the first negative review I’ve made. I definitely would not stay at this hotel again.

Terrible. Overpriced and the breakfast was disgusting. The dining room was filthy.

Avoid this hotel, this is not a 4-star hotel. Should be downgraded.

1- Room has a poor heating, Fez has a cold weather in Winter so we were not comfortable with the heating provided in the room.2 - Breakfast is poor, nothing alike the pictures shown on booking or on the website. I do not recommend it.3 - Staff is not friendly at all. Receptionists were not easy to deal with, and housekeepers were very loud in the corridors smashing doors and shouting at each other while we had a no-disturb sign.4 - Water was cold sometimes, we had to shower with cold water.5- This is not a 4-star hotel

- Greeted well- The size of the rom was great

1. Firstly I was placed in a room next to the rooftop bar, music could be heard2. No hot water, and water was brown. Reception advised to wait 10 mins, after 15mins tested again still no hot water. Called reception again, they advised to wait, and sent someone up and all they did was run the water (which I already had). In the end I had to go down and complain, receptionist shrugged his shoulders and said it’s because I am on the 5th floor. I asked to be moved and speak to the manager. Manager went off with the service man. 20 mins later I had water. In total I wasted an hour of my evening (New Years Eve) and was very late to go and get some food. 3. As I arrived I requested a transfer to the airport, was advised to sort in the am. I went out for dinner and came back and asked again. I was advised I would need to leave a deposit. Arrange the time and requested that I did not wait in reception or wait too long at the airport. Firstly I arrive at the specific time of 6am, no taxi was there, had to wait 30mins. Taxi arrived, not a taxi, was taken to the airport which took 20mins where as the receptionist advised it takes an hour. Had to wait in the cold airport as a single female traveler as checkin was not open! 4. I witnessed two men carry out a drunk woman, I was concerned for the woman and the staff just laughed and said she was drunk. A hotel has a duty to look after their guests and ensure they are ok. Not great for a single woman traveler, felt unsafe area. Some staff were lovely but not all. Would not recommend.

Our last night was terrible the room was very cold till we cannot sleep and the shower was warm only no hot water

Location in new town but walkable to old, adjacence to mall with supermarket. Balcony very large with great view unfortunately no proper furniture though.

On arrival told only took cash whereas Booking said credit cards. As bill for 4 nights was about £400 unsurprisingly didn't have that amount or wish to use cash machine rate of exchange. This statement was changed to card machine broken and on our last day it was apparently fixed. Had to hassle reception every day till this happened.Restaurant only had overpriced buffet. Only bar was nightclub type place on roof run independently.Bathroom bit of a shambles. Plastic bath cracked so I worried would leak on to ceiling below. Toilet permanently flushing till you hit flush button again.1

Swimming pool was clean and big enough, not crowded, we could enjoyed.

The room was not clean... We found someone's hair.Shower is not hot enough.Rooftop's night club was so noisy until midnight. We couldn't sleep early.And daytime, they had construction... Again so noisy.

Youssef at the reception was very profesional and helpful, the check in was smooth and the room very cosy, at the bar the service from Fetah quick and organised, in general i had a nice stay.

poor breakfast and room A/C not working, swimming pool dirty and water temperature very cold we can't use it. and we don't have any bar or facility for the kids.

The room was to small in the booking i read there is 30 m . Also the bathroom was so dirty and It smells so bad .

Staff were friendly helpful very good location with everything near by knight time was bit noisy with barking dogs!
