    Pros +

    • Only about 8 minute walk to the main square in the medina. OK lodging, probably more fun for group of friends looking to share a big room.
    • Stunning accommodation and perfect location. So clean and comfortable. Islam was an amazing host and provided top-class service and service. Breakfast was very enjoyable and my son rated the mint tea as the best he's ever had. Would highly recommend ?
    • Everything about this riad was gorgeous and wonderfull. The place is absolutely beautifull and after a long day of walking through the Medina it felt like coming home. Islam and everyone was so wonderful and helpful whenever we had questions. Happy to come back here on our next trip to Marrakesh!

    Cons -

    • Very hard to find, hard to GPS. Had to end up paying locals to get us to it. No private bathrooms, only single beds in room. (Had 4 in ours). No big blankets/comforters if its cold.
    • Absolutely nothing
    • The staff inexperienced, disorganized and disrespectful, I asked for a pick-up service from the Airport and not only had to talk on the phone with several Taxi companies and arrange practically on my own transfers without any help but in addition to paying 200 dh for the Taxi I was then forced to also leave 300 dh at the Riad for the service. No help from the Staff at any time, we were treated very badly. The room was very small, with no windows (except on the Riad's communal interior lounge) and with an asphyxiating stench of sewage from the bathroom (small and windowless).

Very good location in the center of the Medina, fairly quiet. Great breakfast

The location is quite good, the terrace is very nice.

Do not stay here. The riad was not in a good part of the medina. It was as expensive as a four star hotel and was a two star. Water in shower stopped in the middle, having to walk through the riad in a towel to get water back on, driver to our next location was supposed to be charged 50 to 200 dirham and the riad charges 500 dirham. I felt cheated and ripped off. So sad.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Location was great and breakfast was delicious. AC was a huge plus ! Hisham was hotel’s best asset! Very welcoming, accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure I have everything I need from teaching me how to recognize genuine leather and silver , to getting my jacket dry cleaned, to showing me how to get to the main square on my first night to pretty much getting me everything I need or connecting me with the right person. I’m so thankful for his hospitality and making my stay in Morocco unforgettable. Also I booked transportation thru hotel but it took me 2 hours to get thru customs and the driver and Hisham waited for me even though it was past midnight and at that point I wasn’t expecting anyone to wait up on me. Really can’t say enough good things.

    Nothing. It was perfect

So welcoming, beautiful, clean, peaceful and accommodating. Everything was exceptional. Hisham really went out of his way to ensure I have everything I need. Hotel also has AC and is in the most perfect location. Breakfasts were great and served on a terrace with a beautiful view. Would stay here again and recommend it!

Very quiet , right in the centre of the Medina.

One bed creaked a lot although the mattresses were very comfortable. It's a shame the breakfast is so small. One day just bread and jam. Chopped fruit or juice would be nice, and always an egg.

I have mixed feelings about this accommodation and aim to provide an objective review. The mosaic tiles of the rooms are stunning, and the overall cleanliness and preservation of the place is commendable. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace was very nice. However, beyond these visual and aesthetic aspects, I found the place lacking in several areas that are important for a truly satisfying stay

Unfortunately, our room, located on the ground floor, was quite dark and had a somewhat depressing atmosphere; perhaps rooms upstairs with more natural light might offer a better experience. We also found our interactions with the host to be less than welcoming. Their unfriendly demeanor and general absence contributed to a cold and strange atmosphere throughout the Riad. Moreover, the establishment has some restrictive policies. For example, it is against the rules to have more than one bottle of water per person or to bring outside food into the Riad. This was particularly inconvenient for us, as there were times we simply wanted to enjoy a snack on the terrace and relax without having to eat the food of the Riad or Go to a restaurant. In comparison to other Riads in Marrakech where we've stayed, where the warmth and hospitality were palpable, this place felt lacking. Given the price point, I believe there are much better options available that offer a more welcoming environment and greater value. To sum up, if aesthetics are your sole concern, this Riad might meet your needs. However, if you, like me, value hospitality, comfort, and flexibility as well, there are other accommodations in Marrakech that better embody these qualities and would likely provide a more enjoyable and fulfilling stay.

The riad is centrally located at the heart of the Medina. As mentioned in the other reviews, the owner Hachim is quite nice and helpful. My room was clean and the design much more impressive than the pictures. Breakfast was simple but tasty. On the second day, Hachim remembered that I asked for sugar for my tea and it was sweetened already. Small attentions show care.

As a solo female traveler, I wouldn’t really recommend the property. Not because of anything related to the riad bur because crossing the entire Medina at night is not pleasant at all. During the day it felt exhausting.

Beautiful decoration, lovely staff and perfect location

Cute Riad. Awesome service, Hisham was very helpful and professional. Breakfast on the terrace every day was very nice. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Location in the medina close to all the action but quiet at the same time.

The only thing we didn't like was that the private bathroom is not in the room but on the other side of the hall. The Riad is very private so we didn't have any issues. It was just unexpected.

Hisham was excellent! great social skills, friendly and warm welcoming person. And the place was clean & tidy. Thank you very much Hisham brother.

The decorations of the place, the friendly and helpful workers, the view, the good location in Medina .

Rooms are not very sound proof, it was kind noisy on the small street next to it sometimes . The breakfast was a bit long to prepare.

Hisham is the most incredible host we could have asked for. Kind, honest, and always quick to offer help when we needed. The riad is beautifully decorated with every amenity you would need. Thank you for an amazing stay Hisham!

Entire property was gorgeous, especially the terrace. Delicious Moroccan breakfast included. Best part however was the host, Hisham. He really helped us enjoy our stay in Marrakech and made us feel safe and welcomed! We will miss him!

    Nothing. Property was great!

The Riad was in a very good location and with an amazing view of the city and the Atlas Mountains. The room was nice and the facilities clean and functional. Hisham, the staff at Riad Tasneem is a very good host and fun too. He helped us with everything we needed.
