A wonderful, cozy, and warm riad that makes you feel at home right away. A little gem nestled in the alleys of the Medina and just a few minutes’ walk from the main square. Tariq is an exceptional host who genuinely loves what he does and is dedicated to making his guests feel comfortable. It's so nice to meet such people. I can say that everything was wonderful.

The riad was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. We were very impressed by the decorations and the rooftop where you could sunbath and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The manager, Tariq, was extremely welcoming and helped us immensely with local recommendations.

Staff is incredibly helpful and sweet! Homemade breakfast was delicious! The riad is centrally located to all the tourist attractions.

Tariq was an amazing host, very helpful when booking excursions and provided a map at the start of our stay to help us get around. The Riad itself was beautiful, and well kept. The traditional Moroccan breakfast each morning was also a highlight. We loved our stay.

Me and my husband’s weekend escape to Marrakech was nothing short of magical, thanks to the enchanting Riad Hugo and its exceptional host, Tariq. From the moment we crossed the threshold, we were transported into a world of beauty and hospitality that exceeded our expectations.Upon our arrival, Tariq extended a warm and genuine welcome, making us feel like cherished guests in his home. The traditional Moroccan mint tea he graciously offered was a delightful introduction to the rich tapestry of flavors that awaited us throughout our stay.Tariq's passion for his job was evident from the start, as he took the time to guide us through the intricacies of Marrakech. His personalized tour revealed hidden gems and local treasures that we would have undoubtedly missed without his expert guidance. His knowledge of the city was matched only by his genuine enthusiasm, transforming a simple tour into a captivating journey.Riad Hugo itself is a testament to the beauty of Moroccan architecture and design. Every corner is adorned with intricate tilework, vibrant colors, and handcrafted details that reflect the true essence of Marrakech. The courtyard provided a peaceful retreat from the bustling energy of the city. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style, with traditional furnishings and modern amenities seamlessly blending to create an atmosphere of relaxation. The attention to detail in every aspect of the Riad's design was evident, from the intricately carved wooden doors to the delicate lanterns that cast a warm glow throughout the evening.Tariq's hospitality extended beyond the expected, as he ensured that our every need was met with a genuine smile. His recommendations were spot-on, allowing us to savor the authentic experience and bring home a piece of its vibrant culture.

The host (Tariq) was great; gave lots of tips, thinking along and very hospitable. The accommodation was well finished and felt authentic but modern at the same time. Also located just outside the medina, a quiet and calm place. Way better compared to some other Riads at the same price in Marrakech I stayed on this trip.

My first room had some bugs but I was immediately assigned a new, clean room.

Great location away from the noise and craziness of the central square but just a short walk away. Relatively quiet and peaceful Riad with good breakfast and very helpful and welcoming host. Also appreciated the airport taxi service and host meeting me to walk from taco dropoff to the Riad since I arrived late in the evening.

Can be a bit noisy inside the Riad especially when people are arriving late or leaving early because sound carries throughout the common area but that's pretty typical for most places like this.

Tariq, the riad manager, is very kind and helpful, gave us many great tips and advice on what to see, where to go and what to be aware off, when exploring Marrakech. The breakfast & coffee was also very delicious.

We've had an amazing stay at the Riad, it is beautiful and you can feel how much Tariq likes it and makes it feels like at home. When entering everyday after walking the city and in the mornings during breakfast, Tariq was always there with a smile and recommendations. The breakfast was nice and the room, bathroom, swimming pool, etc are superb!! The Riad is beautiful and we really liked it.

very kind host (who has great travel advice for Marrakech ànd the rest of Morocco), breakfast is varied, rooms are nice and clean, it's a good location close to the Saadian Tombs,... absolutely good value for money

The riad was super cheap when we booked it and for the price we paid was good. Breakfast was okay. The roof top area was nice to sit in. The room was clean

Lots of the reviews mention how helpful and available the staff were, however we didn't experience this. We rarely saw any staff around as we were given our own key to come and go. I received a text message from the manager before checking in offering to organise trips, but the quotes for activities on the wall of the room were more expensive than other prices we saw. We asked for help booking a taxi and were quoted 20€... We found our own for 50MAD. We've stayed in 3 riads in Marrakech and all have been really flexible with breakfast times, but they couldn't offer 20 minutes early here. On our second day the hairdryer in the room was removed and despite looking all over for someone to replace it I couldn't find any staff on site. When we booked this Riad was advertised as being on a huge offer, whilst we are happy with what we paid, we would have been disappointed to pay their original prices ...
