    Pros +

    • Great location. The stuff is super nice, who helped us with everything we needed with a big smile. The hotel and rooms are very clean and decorated nicely. I would definitely stay again.
    • Amazing breakfast with an authentic Moroccan touch. The receptionist was wonderful, super sweet, welcoming, and very helpful. The location deserves a 10/10, right in the city center and close to everything. The room felt very homey and was kept clean throughout my stay.
    • The staff were lovely, and very helpful; he even showed us how to make morrocan tea. The locations was great because it is in the center of the Medina, near major attractions and the souk, yet on a calm street. It was also easy to find (which cna be a problem at some Riads). The room was sufficient in size. The breakfast was good and a basic morrocan breakfast with mesemen, jam, cheese and tea.

    Cons -

    • Not at all.
    • A few things were missing in my room: there was no hairdryer and no TV. Occasionally, there was also a strong smell in the room, even though it was on an upper floor and far from any sewage area.Still, a very pleasant stay with great hospitality.
    • For Janurary it was quite cold and the heating did not work in one of the rooms were booked. The bed felt old and not very comfortable. The shower was also slow to drain. So in some ways I was expecting better given other reviews.

I loved how close to everything was! Right in the middle of the city center.Ismail is an amazing guy, that will do everything in his power to help you out! Unfortunately I stayed only 1 night but I will be back!

Taxis or cars cant get to the place, there is a small 5 10 minutes walk through the market

Beautiful riad and the staff were super friendly and helpful, letting us store our luggage for 3 nights while we were on a tour!

The staff were lovely and friendly. The terrace is beautiful. Great Location . Delicious breakfast!

The doorbell can be heard throughout the propertyand it kept me awake during the night. It is the onlyway to gain access to the property. The pool water could be changed more frequently.

The riad is gorgeous and clean. We had the bottom floor queen room, and you are stepping out to the breakfast area.Breakfast was good. You can ask for eggs, we didn’t know this till last day. I had asked the hotel to pick us up from the airport. Lovely driver greeted us and brought us to the medina where he said someone would then come to walk us to the riad. When leaving the van, the driver began asking for money. We told the driver that the payment will be with the hotel they told us and that we had not got cash as we had just arrived. He accepted this. The guy that walked us to the riad, he demanded money. Again we said he didn’t have cash, he said I can take card, euros, anything that you have.It was late at night and dark and we had just arrived and it became very overwhelming. He would not leave the door of the riad without payment, to which we thought was all the one payment with the hotel that I had arranged for collection. Overall, I would recommend the riad.

This place is small but great. My room was small but perfect for my needs. Breakfast was delicious and staff people were very kind.

I would just recommend getting there when there is light as you do have to go through the market and sometimes harassed by people trying to get money from you by intimidation.

We had a lovely time at Riad Lamzia. The location was excellent as we could walk to all the main sites of Marrakech. Ismail was very friendly and welcoming. He printed off our boarding passes and provided us with a packed breakfast when requested. Additionally, the breakfast was wonderful and traditional. We had a great time in Marrakech and if we ever return, we will stay at this Riad again.

The rooms are not soundproofed so we heard everyone talking. We also heard people entering/leaving the Riad.

We loved our stay Riad Lamzia. The room was spacious and so well designed. Loved the huge shower. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Was nice chilling on the rooftop with the small pool to cool off in very central location so great to walk into the souks and main square. Nice breakfast too!

The rooms aren’t very soundproof but we didn’t mind and only a small issue as everything else was really lovely. We still slept well as it’s very quiet at night.

The property is clean and well looked after just off the main medina. Great location and staff were super friendly.

Be warned - the payment is not taken through booking.com and you need to pay the property in cash (local currency or Euros). If you pay by credit card they charge you significantly more due to their fixed euro conversion rate plus 3.5% credit card fee. Very disappointing

Our stay at Riad Lamzia was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to help with anything we needed truly made our experience unforgettable. The riad itself is stunning—beautifully decorated with traditional touches, creating an authentic and cozy atmosphere. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.Breakfast was delicious, with fresh and flavorful options to start the day right. The staff was always ready with recommendations and assistance, ensuring we had the best possible experience in Marrakech. If you're looking for a charming, welcoming, and well-located place to stay, Riad Lamzia is the perfect choice. We can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back!

Was very nice welcoming people And very well in the center of the Medina And still very quiet

Maybe the breakfast could be more traditional marrocan with amlou, oil and olives

The Riad was in a superb location, very central yet felt really peaceful and calm. The place, bedroom, bathrooms were so clean and smelt so beautiful! Everyday the room was cleaned, and fresh towels were given. The breakfast was delicious. The staff are super attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay here. My room was beautiful and as a solo traveller I felt really safe.

    Clean & excellent location

Our room was on the ground floor, next to the shared breakfast venue which caused a bit of noise

Friendly staff Ismail, breakfast was good. Clean.

Overpriced for a small hotel with limited facilities. There are small range 5 star hotels available for this price in other countries.

Everything was perfect, the room was very nice and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.

First of all, the position of riad it's very good, in Medina, very close to the main square (3 min walk). Otherwise, the area it's quite quiet. The staff is very kind, warm, friendly, smiling and willing to help you at any time (especial Ismail). We had warm water anytime without any issues. The breakfast was enough. The cleanliness in the room was very good, the towels and bed lines as well. I recommend this riad for a real Moroccan experience

Maybe it was unusually cold when we were there, but it was quite cold in the room. Also, the room is not soundproofed at all and the bed was not very comfortable.

    9BeatricePosted on: 1-13-2025

This is perfectly situated to access different points of visit( souks, gardens, palaces, etc), not even mentioning access to a variety of food options just around the corner. As a female solo traveller, i felt safe in the area even at night. The staff is so helpful and welcoming bringing warmth to your stay. The place is also very convivial.

The rooms are not soundproofed which can be a bit of a challenge when talking but it did not bother me as much i was going out most of the day.
