    Pros +

    • Night manager was superb and made us feel quite at home with tea and answers to our questions about the area. It was a much better option and more economical than another riad we tried in Marrakech. My adult son really liked the room on the rooftop.
    • I liked the people. They were friendly and somewhat helpful.
    • Lovely property. Bathrooms wonderful Ayoub - night manager is helpful.

    Cons -

    • It advertised an indoor pool but there wasn't one big enough to swim in. It was a very small decorative pool which was located in the dining area of the hotel. It clearly was not intended for use. There was a rooftop terrace which was not usable.
    • They didnt serve breakfast on the roof even though it is still warm. No signage, so you have to ask. Entry is dirty. Day manager seems to have loud discussions with staff. Possibly heated. Double bedroom very tight, little room to move around bed.
    • The shower was not up to our expectations, which werent very high... the water would turn on boiling hot, then go to a drip and be freezing. I dreaded taking a shower, and one day had to stop because it was so bad. Another thing was finding the Riad. It was quite difficult to find as the address on booking.com was wrong, search Riad Kenzo on google maps and follow that instead.. its down a small side street which looks very dodgey but we had no problem once we found it.

The breakfast was varied and tasty, eggs, pancakes, bread. Cheese, cake coffee, tea and juice.Served as soon as you sat down.Hosts Ayoub and Mohammed were very helpful and booked our trip to the Atlas mountains.Beautiful Riad in good location near the souks.

The staff were all very warm and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and there were different options each day which was nice to try different local cuisine. The location was also perfect for both getting from the airport, going on day excursions and walking around the souks!

Location was the n a heart of Medina. Breakfast was good.

It wasn’t easy to find as located in little alley.

The property was beautiful, amazing courtyard in the middle and cosie rooftop to chill out. This was our arrival into the country and we ate in the Riad - which was so delicious!! Great first impression. The location was perfect, close to everything. You have to enter the Riad in a back alleyway, there were some people sleeping in the alleyway as a woman if your alone this could be quite intimidating but surprisingly the people were lovely and didn’t bother us (I was with my partner so if you are alone it could be different). We did a haman at the Riad which was a cosie experience as the haman is quite small. Afterwards we had a massage, one of us went upstairs to a massage room they had. They had put a massage table in our bedroom. (This was fine but they never asked us beforehand and hand entered into our room themselves & had moved all of our stuff out of the way.) it was grand but we wished they had of asked first. The Riad is very quiet at night & peaceful but you do hear everything that goes on in the building. In general we enjoyed our stay and a great first introduction to the country.

Great experience from arrival to departure, the riad was gorgeous, colourful, spacious and traditional. The staff were amazing, always on hand, and went above and beyond. I learnt a lot about Moroccan life from the staff which really added to my experience. Loved those conversations. We ordered food in a few nights while staying and it was incredible. I would highly recommend Riad Kenzo to future travellers

The location was really good, although a bit tricky to find the hotel as there are no indications. Very close to nice restaurants.

The property requires a bit of renovation. The actual small road where the hotel is located is not very nice and doesn’t leave a good impression.

Perfect position in the medina, ideal to explore the city and its various tourist attractions. Close to the pick up point for escursions with Getyourguide. The staff (Ayoub and Mohammed) was extremely friendly and more than helpful giving us plenty of advise or just talking so that we came to know the city, its inhabitants, mentality and traditions very well. They offer a rich breakfast preparing different things every morning. Also homemade, traditional dinner was excellent. The hammam and massage booked there was magnificent. Very nice roof top.I absolutely recommend this riad.

The fireplace and the terrace were lovely. Ayoub and Mohammed are simply the best, they were always helpful, caring and friendly. The experiences organised by the riad were amazing. Location perfect. We had a great stay. Thanks!

    Super friendly staff. Beautifull facilities.

Be aware of the city taxes and ask for everything you need to pay in the end.

    Decor, breakfast

Instructions to accommodation was not clear and the entrance had no signpost on the alleyway access.Very rough entry, no doorbell or knocker. No front door key provided.Cold in the room Air Conditioner turned off automatically after short time.Indoor pool was tiny and not heated this was the reason I chose this villa. Also confusion over payment on departure making us late for our taxi transfer.

The staff were amazing - friendly and helpful. Relaxed and welcoming. The room and the rest of the Riad were beautifully decorated and designed. The roof terrace gave excellent views and was a lovely environment to catch the afternoon sun.The breakfast was delicious. Good and plentiful. We loved it!

Beautiful, traditional decor, lovely rooftop terrace, delicious breakfast and welcoming, friendly staff.

The breakfast tasted exceptional! The foyer area were really nice and the hotel staff were so welcoming to us :) They also allowed us to keep our luggages there after check out and was kept them safe.

Normal speaking volumes at night travels through the entire facility which we were not quite used to, therefore had to be reminded many time to be quieter.

Very nice and big bathroom, however the shower head could be replaced with something more modernGreat breakfast Very friendly staff

It is very hard to find the place. It is in the souk itself and you go into a shabby patio. No signs in the souk itself where you should turn

Authentic riad, keeping the old style decoration. Standard Morocco breakfast but adding omelette, a real plus to me.

    8NikiPosted on: 12-1-2024

    - Ayoud was exceptional! He went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs by waking up really early to give us breakfast according to our plans, to answering all our questions, to providing practical help based on our interests of each day.- Breakfast and dinner were really good. Indeed dinner was one of the best tagines in Marrakesh as Ayoud promised.- The riad had a certain "family" vibe and staff really helped in this.

    - If staying on the ground floor, expect some lack of privacy as the windows overlook the dining area and it can also get noisy. This is how riads (instead of hotels) are structured.
