    Pros +

    • Well situated near the palaces and Medina.
    • Absolutely gorgeous property. Staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, especially Marwan. They arranged transport for me from the airport early in the morning, well before my check in time and greeted me with tea. The massage and hammam were lovely as well.
    • The location was absolutely perfect for discovering the city. Major attractions were within walking distance, with easy access to the souks, and many nearby local restaurants and popular tourist spots just steps away. The riad itself is beautiful, featuring multiple levels and thoughtfully designed rooms, and the rooftop views are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the full body scrub and massage, which were wonderful and very affordable—such a relaxing experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, and they truly took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The riad is stunning in every way.10/10 — we would absolutely come back again.

    Cons -

    • I would be nice if the riad provided a hot pot and tea at all hours.
    • The jacuzzi in the spa area doesn’t heat up as much as expected.
    • There were some issues that impacted my experience. One night at around 2 AM, I was locked out for nearly 30 minutes despite ringing the bell and knocking repeatedly, and I was only able to enter because another guest opened the door. While management was apologetic afterward, the situation did raise concern. Noise isolation is also poor, and I often had to wear earplugs due to sounds from other rooms. Finally, the air conditioning in the largest room did not work properly, which was uncomfortable in the hot weather.

Riad Ksar Al Amal offers a peaceful escape from the busy city outside, making it a relaxing and authentic place to stay. The internet connection was excellent, consistently testing around 100 Mbps, which made it easy to stay connected. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was a highlight; generous, fresh, and delicious. Altogether, these details created a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.

Beautiful Riad, beautiful people who own and manage it. Delicious breakfast. Central location. LOVED my stay!

We were greeted by the wonderful manager, Saad, and were given tea upon arrival and then a wonderful dinner in their rooftop terrace. The property is beautiful decorated and the aroma is intoxicating! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

Beds are firmer than what I’m used to but I gather it must be a Morocco thing :)

A personal Jardin Majorelle in the heart of Marrakesh! Truly beautiful design. Every person who worked here was also so incredibly kind, genuine and helpful. The rooftop deck / pool was ideal for sunset views and cooling down after a hot day of exploring. Breakfast was delicious. Especially the fresh juice. Merci beaucoup!

Excellent service from breakfast to bedtime! The outdoor pool and the indoor pool are both beautiful. Breakfast on the rooftop veranda is also incredible.

We came in the dark and it was a little challenging to find, once we had that little alley figured out it was easy

We loved the rooms, very comfortable beds and overall vibe, and the rooftop for breakfast was very nice. Team was very welcoming. Overall great experience.

Loved staying at the Riad Ksar. Beautiful rooms, very clean and super friendly staff.

It was a bit difficult to locate in the heart of the Medina.

The property was gorgeous and was a bit more classic style than a previous Riad I stayed in. The staff was exceptional and catered to us with anything we needed at any time. Breakfast was delicious and rooftop patio & pool is a plus.

The only thing we didn’t like and wish we knew was how sketchy the alley the Riad was situated on. It is next to the Spices souk and we saw some sketchy characters at all hours in front of the Riad. As two women we didn’t feel comfortable and even had to ask to get escorted on one of our nights out. (Which they were happy to oblige). So just beware.

Beautifully appointed, friendly / helpful staff, and great location for attractions in the south of the Medina

This is a beautifully restored Riad and is top of the line. We can enthusiastically recommend it. It's in the heart of the medina near historic sites. In fact, it's next to the Bahia Palace. Next to that is the exceptional Culinary Arts Museum which has the most wonderful tea room, rooftop restaurant, and cooking classes, and oasis that's should not be missed.

The riad is beautiful, truly beautiful in every regard. The staff and service are outstanding.Healthy, fresh foods at breakfast on the rooftop each morning.

    8GeetikaPosted on: 1-12-2025

Good location (once we finally found it!) to access some touristy sites in Marrakesh. The alleys nearby can be a bit sketchy, but are well-lit. The staff was very helpful and told us places that we could go to close by. Overall a comfy stay with great views from the rooftop.

There was no communication from the property on how to get there and little communication after on day to day things, which would have been very helpful for us.

This place was exceptional. The stay was very luxurious. The rooms were gorgeous, very clean and gave privacy which we found to be a bit rare in a Riad. As we were staying in a bedroom with two separate beds my partner and I asked to move the beds together which made for a more comfortable stay. We felt that the room was well thought out and the bathroom was beautiful while being well ventilated. We slept extremely well and loved the wake up to the birds fluttering around the tree in the center of the Riad. The breakfast was extensive and delicious.I also want to give a special mention to Abdul who we found to be extremely kind, hospitable, and helpful. We would come back just for him. :)We wish we would have booked for longer to enjoy this oasis!

I would not be the first to jump into the swimming pool as it is very small and would not hold more than one person or one couple. I’d feel a bit uncomfortable being too close to people next to me. It was also cold water and does not get any sunshine (and therefore heat) being in the center of the Riad’s courtyard. Plus you cannot really swim, it would rather be a place to stand or sit in. We felt a bit on edge/intimidated entering the street of the Riad at night as a few groups hang out together outside.

Loved staying here! This was the definition of a luxury riad. The staff was exceptional and the rooms and space were gorgeous.

We booked a taxi to the airport through the property and it didn’t seem worth it. We were told it was 25euro then when we came to pay they added 15euro in taxes which is an absurd price to pay for a taxi. That was the only thing we did lot like

    10EmmaPosted on: 11-29-2024

This stunning suite is on the rooftop of the Riad, with a private patio area. It is beautiful for sitting out and relaxing. Daily breakfast was exceptional. Yogurt and fruits, bread and honey. Just perfect. The staff were so weclomong and friendly; nothingwas too much trouble.

    I liked everything!

    9CharlenePosted on: 11-18-2024

This Riad is simply stunning, and my room on the main floor was fit for a queen! With an extremely comfortable bed (the most comfortable I had while in Morocco) and a large and gorgeous bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooftop patio was beautiful, with delicious breakfast and even alcohol available for purchase! Over all, a fantastic stay in the Marrakech Medina.

It was a bit harder to find the first day, given it is in an alleyway in the Jewish Quarter. But once I got my self acquainted in the morning, it was easy to find very very close to Bahia Palace. There is currently construction happening also to add a pool and Hammam, so waking up to construction sounds wasn’t ideal but it didn’t bother me too much and should be complete in a few weeks for guests to enjoy!
