Nothing ,except the way to the place is confusing.
The place is beautiful, the staff really friendly and helpful.
The location is a bit far from the main square.
Stunning and authentic. Love how the roof opens up and you have beautiful birds singing on the balcony. Staff were lovely. Welcome with morrocan tea and after we conversated and got to learn about their culture.
Not the most sound proof but that didnt bother us at all !
A beautiful riad a bit further from the tourist attractions, but overall a good location. We spent only one night but the experience was great. There is a beautiful terrace on the roof, the rooms are equipped well and the staff was always helpful.
smaller breakfast, the door to the room was making noise since they were moving (not a usual key lock), noise from the street (which is not that busy) - in general were these marginal problems
The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond for us! Loved the breakfast and they were willing to serve it early as we had to leave for an excursion.
The location was at a walking distance from the main attractions inside and outside the medina. The staff was attentive and made a great job. Generous breakfast in a calm atmosphere.
It disappointed us as a Riad, located in a popular neighborhood, and with limited room space. Bad wifi coverage in our room complicated our daily planning. Cats meowing every night.
This hidden oasis of calm is the perfect place to see inside the Medina of Marrakech. Be prepared for utter chaos outside of the door the Riads are a maze of high walled buildings with cats motorbikes demolished buildings & people of Marrakech living their lives but don’t be intimidated by all of this behind the door of Riad Zen ( beautiful ) house is truly that ! Beautiful peaceful calm. The architecture& rooms are amazing birds coming into the open roof ( photos) a paradise from the craziness of the city ! Souks, motorbikes etc . Embrace it all as this is wonderful Marrakesh ! The room was cleaned everyday ! Clean towels & bedding, breakfast was beautiful each morning fresh coffee & Orange juice pastries etc. Nothing was too much trouble. On our last day had a full body massage which was bliss ? not a large pool but big enough to cool off and a beautiful roof top terrace to relaxing on. Utterly adored this place even though we did get lost a few times , don’t be intimidated by what you read this place is the friendliest most welcoming city I have visited & I travel a lot ?
Nothing at all ! Bell needs a clean in entering the property if I had to say anything ! Oh and getting lost but that’s part of the adventure ?
Amazing staff, more than an amazing breakfast and a very clean place (including the kitchen). I highly recommend it!
It would be nice to be able to pay by card. But the manager had no problem waiting for us to get cash and was very flexible. So it is not even a remark, only something that possibly could be added.
Enormous breakfast and flexibility around when it was served. Generally it was between 9 - 10am but we had it at 7:30am one time, and 7:00am another time because we had booked excursions.
On the last day, other guests having an early breakfast were loud and woke us up (it would have been helpful for the staff to ask them be keep their voices down with an early breakfast)
Pretty riad close to one of the many doors of the Medina so good access to cars for expeditions outside of Marrakesh . Very kind staff and thank you to Hassan, Souad and Mustapha for going over and beyond.
The mattress was quite hard and I didn't sleep so well. Also there was a lot of noise in the little street by our window ( top room) with many cats meowing , fighting, screaming .
The breakfast was great and really complete. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were really nice and happy to have us there. It was great to have open space on the ground floor as well as the rooftop.
It could be a bit noisy, but just because we were in the Medina so it's normal. Otherwise, we didn't find anything that we didn't like.
Lovely atmosphere inside the Riad. The room was stunning and everything was welcoming and inviting
Water in the room would have been a nice bonus and also the water pressure for the shower in my room wasn’t so good
Nice breakfast and very good room. All employees are very nice and Mustafá and Suad are excellent. Family atmosphere. Benefit/Cost relation is positive.
Riad location is in a popular zone and no cars go or park there. You have to walk a little bit to take some transportation. This is important specially if you want to do tours and they will pick you up there. Streets are narrow and a little dark.Swimming pool is very tiny.
The Riad was very clean and staff were very friendly helpful. The location was good as well. It would have been nice to have had some help carrying our suitcases up to our room and back down but otherwise it was a lovely experience :)
The staff was amazing, very attentive, kind and helpful in everything. The room overlooked a courtyard which kept everything nice and cool, and it was beautiful. Everything had a very traditional feel to it but with all the facilities. Although it was necessary to ring the bell to get in, this ensured the security of the hotel and they had no problem with what time we returned. Also, the breakfast was delicious, varied a little every day and they also catered to your needs (e.g. once I was not feeling like coffee and asked for a mint tea and there was no problem)If I go back to Morocco I will definitely choose this hotel again!
There was maybe a little noise in the room when other people were using the courtyard (because our room was at the ground level), but it never happened at night so it wasn't a problem for us, they seemed very mindful of this.
The staff were amazing!! It is worth it for the value. Nearby you have a parking lot close to the main gate and it is affordable and safe.
This is a great riad-style guesthouse. Very hospitable staff and amazing Morrocan breakfasts. Very neat and tidy.
Can be a bit noisy at times, with noise coming from fellow travellers mainly. Otherwise, located in a very quiet part of the Medina.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful. They accommodated request for early check in and stored our bags for the day while we went out and explored. We asked them to prepare dinner for us and they put a lot of thought in setting the table with candle light and rose petals. The roof top terrace is extensive and offers many spots to relax and/ or look out over the Medina.
The location of this Riad is not that close to most of the attractions within the Medina. It is confusing to navigate your way to the main square, the mosque, etcThe room was okay, but could use a fresh coat of paint. The hardware that holds the shower head to the wall was broken, so we had hand held shower only. The manager of the Riad requested that we pay the room tax in cash, separate from the credit charge for the room. She requested smaller denominations of dirham even though we told her we did not have it.
The room was big and the toilet very nice.
The guy working there when we arrived was not friendly. It took him half an hour to do our check in and he didn't know if we had a reservation (even if I told him my name and the reservation was already paid). He didn't give us the front door key so we needed to ring the bell everytime we wanted to get in and he took every time more than 5 minutes to do it. Also, the location is not the best, it is 20 minutes walk from the main square and really complicated to arrive there (in comparison to the other Riad where we stayed before). I will not not go to this Riad again and I don't recommend it. Also, the breakfast was not so good (in comparison to the other Riad's breakfast). Too much noise during night and early morning. Breakfast starts at 9am so not a place for early birds. The swimming pool is really really small.
