- Staff!!! The lady of the house was the best. She told us everything we needed to know about the area on on very first visit. Meals were prompt and delicious. The riad is well kept and very inviting.
- The only positive thing is the location - it's in the medina, on a walking distance from Jemaa el-Fnaa and most of the historical sites. Bus stop of line 19 (from/to airport) is also close by. It's located on a small, narrow street which is quiet at night.
- The riad is situated in a very quiet alley only a short walk from the great market square Djemaa El Fna with its colorful fruit juice stalls and from the much more quiet square Place des Ferblantieres with several excellent affordable restaurants. Our room was very comfy and quiet. Every morning we went up to the upper terrace for the beautiful sunrise and a filling tasty breakfast served by our courteous and gracious host, who took very good care of us, providing an extra blanket, extra bars of soap and finally taking us to the taxi to the airport very early in the morning. He also spoke excellent Italian, which I speak better than French, the language spoken by almost everyone in Morocco. The interior of the riad, like many other places in Marrakesh, is in very warm, uplifting colors. I cannot recommend this riad too highly to all those who would like budget accommodation in the quiet heart of the Medina, or the old city of Marrakesh!
Cons -
- Hard to find at first.
- The owner (manager) lady was very rude, unfriendly and she spoke only Arabic, no other languages. It was very hard to communicate with her. Every time we asked her something or told her that something is not working in our room, she acted like we are some kind of enemies or intruders, not her customers. In fact, no one from the staff could speak English. We had to use Google translate. The problems started from the minute we entered the riad. They have apparently messed up something with our reservation and seemed really confused. We've lost 15 minutes waiting for them to stare confused at an Excel file while speaking something in Arabic. Then they finally gave us the keys for a room. The drain of the bathroom sink was not working. We reported that to them and they gave us a new room. It was tiny. The bed was taking up 95% of the room so there was barely any space for baggage or even walking. There was no liquid soap in the bathroom. Room was very cold at night and the A/C was not heating the room properly, so we had to ask for additional blankets (that was a challenge given the language barrier). We had to ask every time about new towels or soap.
- Rien de tout, niente, nada.

Location was great. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially Naima and the main male host. They were very attentive and went out of their way to be helpful!
It would be nice if they provided shampoo and conditioner in the room. Lighting in the rooms especially bathroom could be improved.
Amazing place. Quiet and clean. Naima cooks as the best chef in the world ((Tagine au poulet - chicken with olives and limon- the best in Marroco)!
This little riad is centrally located in Marrakech, we stayed only for a few hours but it was really good value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful and with google translate the language barrier is also no problem. The room was small, but this was ok for the little time we spent there. The room and the riad were also very clean and welcoming. The rooftop terrace is decorated with traditional berber tents and is a cool place to chill.
Might be a bit noisy from the street or the hallway
The location
Expensive for the qualityDirty Little Space and small bathroomWe had dinner 1 day and it wasn't good at al, don't buy thereOnly 1 person of staff could speak English l
for the price it is fine. very basic accommodation.
my room did not have AC or exterior windows. it got stuffy in there.
Staff is super friendly and helpful, the location is great. Both room and the bathroom were nice.
What an experience we had at Riad Dar Benbrahim. Everything was perfect and customer thought. The breakfast, room, check in, check out, everything went smoothly. The breakfast was very good and totally worth the cost. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the opportunity to have other meals, but I’m sure they were equally satisfying. Location is perfect, just outside Jemma El Fna square. The staff was also very friendly and heartwarming. I truly felt at home. Special thanks to Soufiane, what a gentleman! Even though he didn’t master the spoken english, he made sure to understand everything we asked for and questioned him about. He was superb, I will leave a special space in my heart for him, what a kind human. SUPER!
The hospitality They are super friendly I had a stain in my dress and needed it fixed asap, they took it to the laundry for me and fixed it in less than an hour Naïma is so lovely and caring . She made sure everything was perfect when I woke up
Everything was good
The hosts were the most amazing people in the world! The lady that received us was so kind and pure, it touches me when I met people with such a good heart and soul. I’m definitely coming back, we’ll never forget the love and care we were treated in this Riad. Clean, well located, delicious breakfast, true 5 stars!
