    Pros +

    • Location is top. Having a Swimming Pool at a heat of 43 Celsius is georgious. Breaktfast and Dinner are very good (lot of choices). Staff is always nice and helpful. The garden is wonderful. Overall impression is more of a 2-3 star level hotel (age).
    • The hotel is near the Medina
    • The Mamounia at a fraction of the price!

    Cons -

    • We did wonder why somebody did take care of our room only at our last full and third day.
    • Staff are not ok. excurtions overcharge after paying you dont get nothing.
    • This is not a hotel, not even close to a hostel...it is super dirty and old. The room was dirty, and I had ants on my bed. The breakfast was so bad as well. The towels were also dirty. This "hotel" can't be 4 stars, not even 1 star, 0 stars for sure. Do yourself a favor and never stay there.

I didn't like this hotel at all, and it is the last time I stay there ever in my life.

Simply the BEST location for all of the iconic sights with in easy walk [ I'm 78 years old :)]. Wonderful pool. Great Staff.

Bar and restaurant do not take cash.

Absolutely nothing was good about this place.

Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The water in the bathroom came out brown and I got diarrhea/ food poisoning from the cheap breakfast they serve. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.

5th stay here .Get what you pay for Good breakfast ,big rooms friendly staff, hot water,Fantastic quiet pool and gardens .

It’s old and dated could do with a re vamp .

Good location, poolside and garden areas nice. Some staff very helpful but not all.

Room was ‘tired’, shower hose too short so had to kneel in the bath for full shower, and overall far too noisy. Our room was apparently one of the best in the hotel but being near the stairs and lift it was ridiculously noisy. TV in the lobby was playing loud football until too late and the noise travelled up the stairway. Cleaning staff and other guests were all too evident and late-night conversations in the corridor were very intrusive. The excursion to the Ourika Valley was very disappointing - basically it was a sales push for carpets and Argan oil followed by lunch by the river which gave one of us severe food poisoning that ruined the last half of the holiday.

The food, even though double the price of anywhere else we ate during our week long visit, was of a nice standard and variety.

You can’t pay by card for the bar, restaurant or transfer services. They didn’t tell us this until it was time to pay. The atm located outside the hotel charges to withdraw but we were left with no choice. The rooms were nasty, run down and old fashioned. They made us sign a waiver to say we wouldn’t bring any food or drink into the hotel. After a long day of travelling we just wanted to eat and go to bed and then got ripped off at the restaurant. Just a horrible experience. There are so many other places to stay, do not pick this hotel!!

At first all looks nice. There is a beautiful garden and pool. The service is bad except reception who have to deal constantly with customers complaints. You can only pay with cash at bar and restaurant, as the owner installed an ATM in front of the hotel and wants customers to pay his fee. Here is the list of issues:- no water provided. There is a fridge at reception where you need to buy your water. And security received instruction to forbid customers to bring back water at the hotel- bathroom barely working, toilet not flushing well, water drains are clogged- hairdryer doesn't work- we were on a business trip. No iron or dry cleaning service available- windows don't close well. We had someone coming to fix it- mattress is worn out and bouncy- we had a baby and asked for a small mattress, it was all moldedHotel needs complete refurbishment, owner must update his policy of trying to drain money from customers I would absolutely not recommend this place

All good, but simple breakfast and not so clean in the rooms. Rooms look old style.

Rooms very Moroccan style lovely hotel breakfast was good

    5NicolaPosted on: 3-30-2025

Very close to everything nice pool.

When I arrived to my room, the bedsheets were not changed from previous guests, hair, blood and pubic hair in the bed. 2 cushions on the chair were black dirty and the tissue in the bathroom also had blood on it. Guy at reception try to over charge me by 10 euro for a 2pm checkout.

Little gems located inside the city walls (between manounia and royal mansour!) perfect location with all facilities at a reasonable price

    8RosalynPosted on: 3-23-2025

fantastic location, pool is great and staff friendly

No tea/ coffee making in room

    7AmyPosted on: 3-15-2025

The location was excellent, a very short and nice route into the medina. You walk through a park and past a big monument right into the main square. It's nice to have private space from the outside around the pool, 11-3 is very hot, and the sunbeds were great. The rooms are nice and clean, they make your bed each day. A good temperature at night. Plug sockets on both sides of the bed. The woman at check-in is lovely. The balcony is great, one big suncatcher.

The bathroom was okay. The shower wasn't the cleanest but still usable. It does not have an attachment to clip it to the wall and is one that you hold. We ordered a pizza from by the pool, food is not there strong point. Drinks are more expensive in the hotel to outside, but that's to be expected. We did go in February so maybe its nicer in the summer but the pool is freezing cold with not the slightest heating.

    Good

restaurant meals were very adequate but repetitive. Swimming pool was good but no activity options for active customers.

A nice pool & surrounds Room clean & beds comfortable but decor quite tiredStaff pleasant and helpful

Cash only transactions in this hotel - not good in this day and age…and prone to occasional “mistakes” by the staff150 dhirams (£12) for a 175cl glass of pleasant white wine and 45 dhirams (£3.60) for a 1/2 pint bottle of lager not the best value methinks

    3LaurencePosted on: 3-8-2025

Close to a lot of the areas we wanted to see.

When we went for breakfast on the first day, there was no staff in the dining room, the "hot" food was cold, there was no forks or spoons, a "clean cup" had lipstick stains, some of the delph was chipped, and although some of these improved during our stay, the dinner menu was not made available, and there was no a la carte option.
