    • The "guest house" it's important to understand it's not a hotel was wonderful and all the staff was wonderful.
    • Absolutely loved our stay — Abdal was incredibly kind, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and helping with anything we needed, and the rest of the staff were just as warm and welcoming. The riad and the terrace were truly beautiful, creating such a charming atmosphere.
    • Everything, the location is great, staff are very friendly and add value to our experience, we’ve been there for couple times.

    Cons -

    • Very far from square /2 miles. No wifi in room and only few places within guest house. No tv in room. No phone in room. You must go to reception with questions they must knock on door for wake up call . However, if Medina area is a 1 then hotel is 80!
    • A few things could be improved: THE WIFI!! Absolutely no wifi in the rooms, the breakfast was quite limited with not many options, and in Room 4 the light switches didn’t work consistently, so the room felt a bit dim. The shower head and sink tap were also quite old and not the most functional.Overall, the hospitality and the beauty of the riad made our stay memorable, but a few updates would make it even better.
    • Des murs moisis , l’humilie , le lit cassé le matelas pas confortable , le petit déjeuné très médiocre ..

The location was fantastic. A 10 minute walk to everything, even Cafe de France where a lot of tours meet up. The details in the room made my stay extra special and the staff always made sure I was okay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the riad—the staff was absolutely incredible and made us feel very welcome. The space itself was lovely and comfortable. We loved having breakfast at the riad each morning, though it was almost entirely carbs. The internet connection was inconsistent, which made it difficult to keep up with work. Additionally, there were no nearby coffee spots or shops within walking distance. Medina is close and as expected a crazy place. Be aware that the owner sets his own exchange rate, and meals/spa services are priced in euros but converted into local currency at checkout, which added unexpected costs at the end of our stay.

Overall this Riad offers pretty good value for money within the Medina and within reasonably easy reach of Jemaa El Fnaa. Rooms have beautiful ornate decoration are a good size, very clean and the beds very comfortable. That said, we had to be moved from the 1st room we were allocated due to damp in the bathroom resulting in an overwhelming musty aroma. Fully appreciate that this is a very old property but we found this particular room uninhabitable. We were given a new room but not until the following day. Breakfast is pretty basic but plentiful and evening meals tasty and reasonably priced. All in all, this Riad is an authentic Marrakesh B&B at a reasonable price. The Riad also offers a variety of excursions via a 3rd party and in the main, these private tours offered great value for money. We visited the Atlas Mountains and Essaourira with and were provided with an excellent driver. We also had a walking tour around Marrakesh but sadly this was far less satisfactory. The guide was atrocious, provided very little actual information and most of which he did provide we could have ascertained ourselves. The tour should have lasted 3 hours but was over in 2 and a half. A really poor experience.

Lovely Riad. Made a change from staying in a big hotel that could have been anywhere.

WiFi didn’t extend to our bedroom upstairs. Breakfast a bit samey. We stayed 4 nights but would recommend no more than 2-3 nights.

The food here was superb. Really enjoyed the evening traditional evening meal. Breakfast was ok. Mainly breads, jam, coffee & tea. Room was very clean with big bed. Bathroom oldy world is best description but everything worked and towels were clean. This is a traditional riad and is in the old part of the town so you are with locals when walking out. It's not a tourist area. Some will like this, some not. Staff very friendly. Nice stop over.

Not really a swimming pool. More a small water feature. Very pretty but not big enough for swimming.

We really enjoyed our time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast and dinner were delicious!

The Riad is the perfect location for walking to the Medina, about 20 mins walk. Although I would say to take a taxi at night as the streets can be a bit intimidating in the dark. The Riad itself and the staff were all fabulous, the food was delicious and the room was spotless every day. Lovely rooftop Terrace to sit and enjoy the sun or just soak up the atmosphere.

The staff were really friendly ,it had a lovely communal area ,breakfast was lovely ,and even though we had a standard room it was still lovely

The location and the bathroom needed updating

    7HansiPosted on: 2-26-2025

Clean and relatively comfortable Riad with friendly staff . Rooftop was nice and quiet as only nine rooms in total

A bit far out from the centre and medina . Struggled several times with taxis and finding the location when walking . WiFi really poor and struggled for connection a few times and ground floor rooms next to pool can be noisy and bad smell from our bathroom also no round the clock snacks or food and have to pre order dinner

A haven of tranquility in one of our favourite cities. Loved the location, which is very much within the local community, not in a tourist neighbourhood. Some may consider this undesirable but it’s the true Marrakesh and the 20 minute walk to the medina is a treat if you want to see the true Marrakesh. The staff were always so helpful and the room was beautifully clean. Breakfast was lovely.

    Nothing, loved it
