Hotel Kajanus

The location was very good fir ours needs. The room was big and comfortable. The food was great at the dinner and also at breakfast. The spa and the pool very good. And the staff very kind and helping.

We had a nice and short stay. Everything went well, breakfast was good. And the location near the city was good for us

Rooms don't have air conditioning. This was not an issue for us, and we knew it beforehand.

The location. Near the lake.

Not very clean in geneal!Bathroom should be cleaned better. Dusty furniture and very very old corridor carpet

The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly.

The accommodations are in disrepair and urgently needing an updating.

comfy, really! big room with 2 bathrooms, a good breakfast and helpful staff. The restaurant is very good although the service rather slow. parking right out front

Comfortable and close to town

Restaurant not opened Sunday night. Rooms are very warm

Friendly personnel, nice breakfast, delicious, traditional Sami food at restaurant.

Pictures are misleading! The Hotel does not have a pool, the pool belongs to the gym next door and you have to pay extra! The furniture, bathrooms and beds are outdated and need some investment. There is NO possibility to charge your electric vehicle at the hotel!

Perfect location, walking distance to city center 24hr reception Very good breakfast

Very basic room,no bedside table for essentials Conditioner in the bathroom would be helpful

Wonderful staff, good location, breakfast and the gym.

The staff at the hotel were always so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and generous. The room was clean and the size of it was bigger than expected.

Never again

The old hotel is in urgent need of a full renovation. The carpets in the corridors are in poor condition, worn and outdated, contributing to an unpleasant odor throughout the space. The bathroom in the room suffers from issues such as a broken shower door and a lingering bad smell. Additionally, the room’s furniture is old, scratched, and shows significant signs of wear, further diminishing the overall guest experience. The shower in the basement sauna and the benches are too bad.

Good breakfast. Great location. Hotel as a whole is OK/good. Small sauna in room is a nice bonus (Regular room for two). Bed was good. There is a working table in room too. OK if you travel for work and not for leisure with your family.

Very very noisy and loud central air condition in my room and bathroom too. The furniture had seen it's better times, but OK functioning. Sun shades on window were partly broken. Ih hotels bar/restaurant only one staff person was working, so waiting times for order at both were long in the evening.

Competitively priced.

Worn and in need of serious facelift. Indifferently staff.

The sauna was very nice. The staff were helpful

The room was not very clean and the same goes for the bathroom. It was old and its functionality was a bit off.

Convenient location and free parking.

Accommodations were dated.

Location

Price, the room, quality of amenities

Centrally located…

Make people pay there room bill at check in! This happens with 99.9% of all hotels. For some reason this hotel opts for paying at check out. Issue is I almost walked out without paying, so use to that and thought it was done at check in, heck, you already have customers providing personal info at check in, just do everything at once!

Situation ok

Run out of most food when enetered there around 9 am. Was told that there´s more coming for next day...

Location is awesome, good breakfast, nice staff and excellent gym.

The carpets could be renovated and for me the sauna in the bathroom didn’t have a good smell.

Good location and comfortable room. Restaurant was very good and served great fresh fish. Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

My room was nothing like the photos on Booking. com website when I booked it. I think this has since been corrected but I was extremely disappointed when I arrived in the room. Apparently the photos were of another Peera Hotel 500 km away!! The sauna in the room was very small and two people would struggle to be comfortable in there.
